@bernadettemcgoldrick4817 They sure are aren’t they! Very very cool. I love slender odd ball snake species and the -parrot-snake- angry shoe lace is right up my ally.
WOW! Incredible reptiles!!! That lightning storm looks AMAZING Aww, what a fun gecko What out for your toes from those blue crabs! WOW! That lime green on that snake (#3) I can't wait to see your Hog Island Boa photos/videos bro #RattleOn
The tarantulas you’re seeing are Tliltocatl albopilosus, the Honduran curly hair. There is also a Nicoraguan curly hair with the same species name but they are much more fluffy. I’d be curious to see if you can find one and spot the differences.
That island is gorgeous and omg that water is beautiful. I can't wait for your Boa movie i know its gonna be done as amazingly as your ball python movie was.
PARROT SNAAAAAKE. My absolute favorite genus of animals ever. That was an especially dark one, most L. mexicanus mexicanus/yucatanensis have around 4 rows of the dark scales on their sides, and the rest of the scales on the back are a dull gold color. Im so happy to see one
I'm enjoying your videos Dav. I truly like turtles, tortoise, and lizards. Learning about the different species is fascinating. Thanks for educating me on reptiles. I am still deathly afraid of snakes, but seeing them on my TV is just fine. 😊
You don’t need a shower when your trekking about the jungle Dav. And even if there was baths in the jungle they are almost certainly too small to fit your huge frame in. 😂 Seriously though, I thoroughly enjoyed that Dav. As always👌
The tarantula looks like an Aphonopelma seemanni (Stripe knee) mainly in Costa rice-guatemala . Closer to Guatemala and north they are more blue, down south they are more brown.
Did you dance for your dinner? Parrot snake absolutely beautiful was the head iridescent green? Love the lizards and always love the judgmental vine snakes that one was kind of dramatic. More please.
The tarantula looks like an Aphonopelma seemanni. They are found in that range along with the Tliltocatl albopilosus, but T albos are curly hair tarantulas and look much more fluffy than that.
its quite odd that you didn't find any boas, im wondering if someone made up the story of where hog islands actually came from and if its just some polygenic hypo infused line of cen ams or something...
That lizard was terrified, not angry. Expected to be eaten. Very annoyed with people who call them angry. That posture is a desperate attempt to be scary.
Hyped for that boa movie
Waiting on it like Christmas
That parrot snake is the most beautiful snake I think I've ever seen! It didn't quite look real! ❤❤
Right?
@bernadettemcgoldrick4817

Cataleah needs to reply with a comment about that room.
Yes she does. I sent her a pic of it when I was there.
Great video. C. Melanosterna are my favorite lizards at all . Worked with them in the 90ies.
Very cool
One step close to the Boa movie! Crank that movie out dave.
Another great episode 👏
What a gorgeous place!!!!
Aww man... You could've given us at least a teaser glimpse of a Boa! 😂 That island is gorgeous!
Love your adventures!😅!
Wooo! I hope to visit one day.
Any plans to do a leopard geckos in the wild video?
I do but not sure when
That would be awesome!!!!!

8:44 I thought this gecko was a thin pinecone until you went back to it several times. 😂
Yeah they do disappear in plain sight
I was gonna say, that room you stayed in was probably full of taratulas!
Did you dance for your dinner? Parrot snake absolutely beautiful was the head iridescent green? Love the lizards and always love the judgmental vine snakes that one was kind of dramatic. More please.
I danced but not for my dinner :)
@@davkaufmansreptileadventures hmmm visual 🤩
@@davkaufmansreptileadventuresif there are no photos/film it never happened 😂😂😂
Parrot snake are beautiful!
Epic vid , surely u goin to Argentina for the boa movie?!
Beautiful lizards and snakes❤ i laughed so hard on you lipsincing (how did i spell that?) yourself! Can't wait for the Boa movie❤
I forgot to mention the stunning tarantulas❤

💯your fault Dav get the fu
I think the tarantula was a Tliltocatl albopilosus - the curly hair tarantula. The Honduran version has less hairs than the Nicaraguan version.
The tarantulas are Honduran curly hair :) Tlitlocotl albopilosus
Did you find any Hog Island Soft Furs?😮
The Tarantulas are likely Tlitocatl albopilosus.
That was a honduran curly hair tarantula on that tree i have 5 of them
How was the food??
Cool finds……! Not one boa???? Not even a teaser…????
❤
Is the turtle eating a plastic bag or a jelly fish? The strands look like tentacles.
its quite odd that you didn't find any boas, im wondering if someone made up the story of where hog islands actually came from and if its just some polygenic hypo infused line of cen ams or something...
Phormictopus auratus?
Owe stop bitting me. He's like but your a big scruffy monster.
End up as long time friends in the long run
I would love a crab.
I liked the lizards....
What a priviledge to be able to visit that island.
I enjoyed every second of it!
Those tarantulas look like Honduran curly hairs(Tliltocatl albopilosos). But im not 100% sure.
You left out the boas when you were editing
But the important thing is that there are boas and other snakes.
True!
This makes me want to convince my mom to go here instead of Hawaii
That lizard was terrified, not angry. Expected to be eaten. Very annoyed with people who call them angry. That posture is a desperate attempt to be scary.
Honduran Curly Hairs!
Dav im sorry to say that was your fault I think😂😮
Curly Hair Tarantulas
Haha Hog Island wombats
