Is there a possibility that I could have pulled the CV joint out of the gearbox? I can’t get the caliper assembly to line up nearly with strut’s second bolt 😢
Yes! just did mine today and spent hours trying to work out why it wouldn't line up again. Just had to giggle pushing back in toward the gearbox while spinning the axle and eventually the splines lined up and went back into place.
I always watch autodoc videos. Mate, your skills are speechless. I wish you could do some work on my Honda Jazz. I would love to keep my car as long as I can. Please reply if you do repairs privately.

Even £334.54 seems expensive, so it's probabaly better to get the replacement parts cheap from Ebay, take the car to a good mechanic and get them to fit the new parts. If they've never done the job before, just refer them to this UA-cam clip.
