Hi, friends! What do you want to see in the next video?

Hi friend¡¡¡ what about a lighter that we could use in the kitchen...?

Thanks for the video! Just one comment i have to make: The inside of the panel should not be reflective, you need something black like asphalt that absorbs the UV and visible light and releases it into your casing by convection and as infrared radiation thus creating a greenhouse effect.

Was looking for someone who tried this! Your the only person I’ve seen do it thus far. Thanks for showing your build and showing the panel effectiveness using the old fridge coil

I've never found another one who tried this, so now I'm building my own. I am curious about what can I get with a more elaborate build. I found in garbage a taller fridge coil, and I'm putting together the box, than paint all matte black an then a glass on top all sealed up with silicone. I want to control the pump with an Arduino program... Let's see what we can do

1m sq of black insulated metal sheet will create 1kw of heat to water tubes. The trick is to get that warm water to an insulated tank

Thanks for watching! I made a mistake in the project. I had misconceptions about physical processes. Or you need to raise the radiator above the foil to the sun's rays reflected and heated the lower part of the radiator. A better foil is to use a black matte surface. The efficiency will be much higher!

you need to insulate the barrel... I guess once the tubing is full the load on the pump is not effected by how high the collector is over the barrel.

    Missing information;
    Ambient outdoor temperature.
Exact length of time from water starting temperature to new water temperature.
If I overlooked this information I would appreciate timestamps for it.
This information is required for evaluating the temperature gradient.
The rate of heat loss or increasing temperature is directly related to the ambient temperature.
I could say for example that my water heated from 18°C to 27°C by pouring it in a bucket and waiting no coil needed but that's because the air temperature here is 32°C with 65% relative humidity.
In any case great physical example of a thought experiment.

you could drive two or more such collectors on the same pump and increase the efficiency in that the flow throught the small pipes would be less.

I'm working on a project that requires a flat plate solar collector, I'll love to use a metal instead of wood, will that increase its efficiency?

    • @dial2277

Thanks! Use a black inner surface! Of course, metal will heat up better than wood.

@@dial2277 Thanks. Please can you help me with resource that will guide me through the process of fabrication of a flat plate solar collector, with the most efficient materials (but cost effective ☺). I'll appreciate this sir, I am also considering a polymer flat plate solar collector.
This is my mail sir, isikawilliam10@gmail.com.

термостат по моему, совсем не нужен. Есть солнце - течет вода. Нет солнца - и качать ее нет смысла.
А если поставить емкость выше батареи - она вообще сама бежать будет. Правда, батареи отопления должны быть еще выше, но внизу помещения.
