I've only quilted a few panels for bags so far but I learn something each time. I was really pleased to find this lovely chevron pattern. Thank you so much for showing the complete process. I now use a white gel pen as it dries faster, makes a finer line and wipes off easily with a baby wipe or damp cloth but doesn't smear so easily if touch with the ruler or hand (I notice you tend to lift your ruler at an angle to avoid resting the back of it on a freshly drawn line). I still find the gel pen can leave a shadow on some vinyls when removed... but so can the silver pen! I always test first now - just as well as one vinyl had shadow marks left by both pens! For that one I put the end marks in the seam allowances and lay down the edge of a long piece of painter's tape between the marks to sew following that edge. That worked really well as long as I was careful not to stretch it. I shall look through your past videos next to see what else you've done. 🙂
i did notice that the video get blurry as soon as i transfer them. i think i need to get a better video editor or use a camera instead of my phone 🤔 thank you for the feedback!
Nice result, nice explanation who to but when the music came on I fast forwarded.. can’t make everyone happy but no music is better than annoying music 😉 22:55
@@indolovekreation8077 Easy peasy! I was wondering what angle on your ruler you used, but the answer is NONE! This is so much easier. I liked the way you used your mat do help line up your ruler on the bottom. My question: Did I hear a doggie walking around your studio?
Love the design. So versatile. I can see a beautiful bag made with this pattern. 🌴
Beautiful idea! Love your work! Please show us what you make with this panel!
Beautiful! I can't wait to try this.
Looking forward to see what you create using the quilted vinyl.

Great video. Would you recommend when stitching the straight lines, top to bottom, going in one direction ie top to bottom each time. Thanks
The diagonal lines that are stitched already hold the foam backing in place, so it really doesn't matter which direction you go on the straight lines.
I've been waiting for this video! Thanks.
Thank you! let me know if you have any questions 😁

I'm glad! yes, my puppies kept checking on me. It's either paw steps or scratches on my door 😅 I'm sorry if it's annoying
@@indolovekreation8077 Not annoying at all -- I love the sound of puppy feet. Well, I'd love to see the pups in a video sometime.
Very interesTing. Technique would you get the same results on fabric? Thanks Lou
i would think so, but not as lofty because on fabric, we normally use batting instead of foam
I hope to try this soon! What markings pen did you use? How much “shrinkage” did you have to your 12x12 square?
i got silver pen from amazon. the square now measures at 11-3/4
