Back when I was 9, I used to be so scared of roller coasters. Barnstormer was the scariest one. Now that I moved to Florida a year ago, I've gone to the parks a lot more. i did Guardians, Tron, etc. But now I needed to face my greatest enemy at Universal Islands of Adventure, VelociCoaster. I rode it for the first time two weeks ago, and that was when I got over my fear of roller coatsers completely at the age of 13. If this inspired you, don't let fear be in the way of roller coasters. If you are scared of the feeling, just do it. If you are scared the restraints are going to fail, engineers at Disney and Universal are much smarter than you. The make sure that safety comes first. Barnstormer was my first roller coaster of my life.
during my last visit to Disney (2 months ago) I was able to get on this ride because the wait time was like 10 minutes long so so why not right? … And let me tell you this ride was way more fun than what I anticipated it to be!! It looks like it wouldn’t be scary but the height and the speed make it fun! I recommend it on your next trip 🤩 🤩

So my mom took me on a trip to Disney when I was 7 and I thought this was a walk through but NOPE it was a coaster and I begged and begged my mom to not let me go on this but we were too far ahead in line and I ended spending the entire ride screaming and crying. Now at 24 I clearly see this ride is nothing too scary (still don't like upside rollar coasters).
This coaster is definitely showing it’s age. It’s fairly short and the lap bars suck! The seats aren’t padded at all and have grooves in them. After the last time I went on this I got a headache. I still managed to have a good time though! This was my first ever roller coaster and I loved it as a little kid.
I went on this ride a few weeks ago it was so fun and me and my mom went to the after hours at disney because we were staying at one of the hotels so I didn’t have to wait in any line at all we were the only ones on the ride and the worker even let us go twice in a row !
This ride is pretty fast, I have motion sickness and afraid of height. This ride had been kind to me. I had no problems with this ride. I'm not sure for you since everyone is diff, the only way to find out is give it a try.
As a ride chicken I am nervous about going on this tomorrow! But I’m hoping to conquer my fear of coasters! After this I’m going to brave Big Thunder Mountain!
Goofy Barnstormer is a great start if you have a fear of roller coasters. It's going to be a breeze and over in before you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Big Thunder Mountain will be fun too and not that bad if you are afraid of heights. I know because I have a fear of heights ;) Hope you have a great time!

@@kfike96 my 32-year-old husband is terrified of roller coasters and thrill rides, but he and I just rode this on our honeymoon! I also got him to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Star Tours, Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom, and Test Track at Epcot. He was nervous getting on all of them, but ending up loving them!
A few months ago yes, but now they are cramping everyone with a minimum of barriers with flexis glass. I still feel a lot safer than walmart and anywhere else.

Thanks. We’re going March 22nd and trying to find some rides my 3 year old won’t be afraid to go on. He’s pretty tall for his age. I’m praying that the park hours will change and stay open a little later by that time.
I love this ride however it’s kinda suck if it’s a long line and it’s like 1 hour waiting because when you finally get up there the ride for like 20 seconds like what a wast of time in that line
That's it? It's pretty short. Is it supposed to be a family ride or kids ride? For a kids ride it seems pretty intense compared to other kids rides but for a family ride it seems super mellow
The ride is pretty intense, you can really feel the force going down. The rides is about 20 to 30 second long. I have seen kids age 6 crying due to the force but it's all about the parents discretion, they should know if their kids can handle it or not. It's a kid ride but still need parental guidance in my opinions.

Ok from 01:45 to 02:00 watch that ride op guy be completely DONE with that little girl & her dad. Or maybe he’s having a bad day. Idk. Haha. There are legit three to five ppl in the train - yet he keeps waving his hand at them to hurry up, like there’s a whole line of ppl waiting. You’re waving at one girl and one grown man, not a full train, dude. Just saying. They didn’t even lag getting out of the train, and yet he stares at the girl like “hurry up”, then flounces his hand down and looks like he’s about to lose it! hahaha. It’s all good I’ve been there. Just… not when it’s unnecessary like this… just imagine. I’m not saying he’s really having a bad day, but just picture it!
This is the worst kiddie coaster both me and my kids have ever been on at any major theme park. Bad theming, basic and boring elements, and it feels like it lasts 20 seconds. Disney should be ashamed.

this ride is kind of like the woody one in orlando universal. it was kinda rough for some turns but is still fun even for a kids ride!
