What's crazy is how my people in the tropics and near the equator all mix lime, sugar, and booze to make something fantastic. It's a combination that will never get old. Easy drinking and a beautiful glass, by the way. Great video.
How about no crushed ice since its just watering the drink. Bigger ice cubes, better control of that. Cane sugar syrup is better because the sweetness can be mixed better than brown sugar which is ending up between your teeth and in the straw.
With this cocktail you want dilution, otherwise you’d be drinking straight liquor and lime juice. Also the sugar melts by the end of the cocktail. It starts out stiff and ends with a sweet note. You’re not supposed to use a straw.
@@CTLloydBanks maybe you’re thinking of raw sugar, that might not melt. Brown sugar and regular sugar will dissolve. I’ve drank many of these. It’s mostly about muddling it enough and how long it takes you to drink it. Sure if you finish it in 2 minutes then some of it may not melt. I’ve always taken 10-20 minutes to finish them and I’ve never had a granule enter my mouth

Pretty sure it's demo-ray-ray, but outstanding video none the less. (Sorry, it's been a Wray & Nephew night.)
