This is a tier eight seal clubber. Don't want to be grinding during the next few weeks, good strategy Wargaming. Wargaming should start looking at tanks that are not elite in tiers 8 & 9 and not allow them in the games of this tank. I'm not grinding that much anymore but for newer players this should be looked at. This is an interesting tank.
Sick of the sight of this tank. I’m trying to grind out my t-10 and get the obj 277 but these keep durping me. I’ve even been 1 shot from full health a few times because they set me on fire. I don’t think a medium tank should be capable of destroying a tier 9 heavy in 1 shot.
Great video as always. Looks like my tier 8 3 MOE grinds are going to be put on hold for a while. Similar effect as the Dreadnought give away had on tier 7 for a while.

The tank was conceived for d-day, it was one of a series of tanks known as ‘Churchills Funnies’. It was designed for the best soldiers on the planet, the Corps of Royal Engineers 👍 AVRE stands for Armoured Vehicle Royal Engineers.
Cent AVRE was post-war, the AVRE during WW2 from D-Day onwards was a Churchill. I don't think it came into service until about 20 years after D-Day. Hobart was the designer.
@@Petty360 I played a few games in it this weekend just for lols whilst trying to do a contract. The first couple of games I sat there trying to get the gun depression to work and checking out the armour. It takes some getting used to, the biggest problem for me is team mates being retards and blocking you off or not allowing you space to work corners or GD. I've had some 6k games, I even bounced 6k in one game with a clueless T96E6 player who had no idea what he was doing and spamming heat at me. The gun also has a weird habit of missing random fully aimed shots, just like the Type4/5. When played properly or in a platoon it's borderline game breaking, or if bullying lower tiers...but one on one it's a bit crap really if the other player has any idea. I had some bozo teammates sitting 600m back in their light tanks not wanting to spot which makes it difficult in TX games.

Off topic of the tank the video is on but are you aware the obj.430 has a new gun? It has a 390 alpha gun that reloads in 5.5 seconds!!!! Just a little reason to give this tank a spin again since the 62a and 140 long overshadowed this
It’s a shame it has shit pen though so there’s no reason to use it over the standard gun I bounced an ST-I 6x on the “weakspot” of the hull from 400m away with the premium apcr on that gun. If it was 330 heat that would be an entire ST-1 dead useless!!
Excellent Vid M8! I really like the AVRE, but I have to say that this vehicle tends to go up in flames very easy almost like some tanks in the russian line. Like 6 out of 10 games average. Already changed the rations for fire extinguisher.
How do you know when the server is up so quickly? Whenever I check on the WOT website it says its up after Tuesday maintenance, but I still can't logon for ages.
They usually ping on discord when servers are up and they usually say the day before how long server down time is going to be, so I just keep an eye on it

Shoot a tank anywhere with this thing and you’re doing 5-600 damage, and it has a shit tonne of armour for a medium, and hitpoints of a heavy tank

You get those by being consistently better AVG damage and assist than a % of the people playing the tank in the last couple of weeks. So the % are 65, 85, 95,100

Kinds is. Gun depression is only 9 but feels much less. Power to weight is very bad. Aim time isn't good. But man. It's basically a mobile type 5 heavy with a 20 second reload.
The tanks as AWFUL for the game. Too toxic it’s just scares free to play players away. 500 splash is absolutely ridiculous for the reload time. Good players are going to do minimum 2000 damage on a bad game.

No because the Fv4005 and the other 183mm TD still has the harder hitting rounds.
The gun on the 4005 is better in almost every way.

it's HESH and it can pen the sides nicely, hell I ruined the day of an FV4202 early by hitting his lower plate.
