These videos of Tina from this time are pure gold. I love this band, and her duo performances with Karoline Kier are marvelous as well. Having only just discovered her now in 2020, I wish I’d known of her back in the ‘aughts when this was taking place.
@@thomasbelmont810 "Back in the day" as we say these days. I never watched late night t.v. so I missed it. I've watched clips of it. Keeps you up at night.
Tina's shows here in California are in tiny clubs, small intimate nights of songs and storytelling. It's amazing to see that kind of crowd, thousands of people loving an artist and a song that I adore so much in such a huge way. Phenomenal!
What a talent. I love her lyrics and her songwriting! The band also pushes 'Count to ten' to the next level (discovered this treasure when she was performing it so wonderful with Singer-Songwriter Jonathan Kluth)
@@hulk8150 Ok, so, any number of people on Earth could turn out some great music, it's just that all us white people relate to other white people. So far, so good.
If this woman were to lead a Viking raid onto my island, our warriors' weapons would drop to the ground and their fury'd be useless at the first sound of this angel's mesmerizing voice. Particularly the part at 5:16, "if you want to hold on, you got to let go!"
Den her sang er SÅ meget federe live! Hendes stemme følger bare hele sangens stemning, og hendes guitarist er for vild! Resten af bandet lægger bare den lækreste bund for hendes stemme og guitarsoloen! This is awesome!
Tina is so beatutiful with such a delightfully unique voice. It must be diffiifcult for people to look at the real gal; that means getting past her easy-to-look-at body. MEN's eye candy. ; -)))) Wanted my sons to have brown eyes and blond hair. But came out with Blue eyes and blond hair. :-))) So go Slow Gal and stay the sweet gal you appear to be just in the energy you put forth with your countenence. Your music is fantastic. :-))) Peace and Love to ALL. So happy Angel for this great share.
Sangen her er MEGET, meget bedre live end den originale.. Hun klarer det helt vildt godt live. Hun er en af de få Kunstner man tænker: Wow hun lyder nærmest bedre live, fordi man kan se hvordan hun lever sig ind i sangene.
She does good in front of a live audience that's a big audience to, but she was best with Zero 7. Let's be honest with ourselves. Maybe she moved on cause she thought she could make more money solo, but remember the spirit of the music is what we really want.
I think in real life she's probably very conservative...the subject matter of this song notwithstanding. have you met her husband? He's a quiet, easygoing guy.
Tell that to her husband and creative partner Helgi and their two young children. I'm sure she's an awesome life mate. My guess is that she's learned quite a bit throughout her travels and experiences... and at this stage in life, she's precisely the kind of woman to make the perfect mate.
+Mike C when she's sixty or more and still with the same with the same person, then maybe. when you're on your death bed and still looking at the same face, then and only then, you know it was a life time mate, providing there was no cheating. It's not possible to tell any other way. I'm guessing that you are young by my standards, or you wouldn't have made the fairytale comment.
Joseph, she's not restricted to writing about her own experiences. They may be the experiences of others or they may not have happened at all. Some years ago, English singer/songwriter Joan Armatrading was asked if she'd experienced everything she'd wrote about in her songs. Her response? "Good God, no!!! If I'd done all that, I'd be dead or locked up in a loony bin!"

Have you seen her performances with Zero 7 ? Pure gold as well my friend. She is magic.
@@jaimhaas5170 Yes! Her performance of “Home” with Zero 7 on Jimmy Kimmel is how I came by her. Still my favorite:)

My absolute favourite Songwriter! So inspiring! Genious. And growing so much through all the years. Exceptional.
Janice let's go see her live.
this is my favourite tina song & i adore hearing it with a full live band - it's just stunning! tina = stunning!
Tina you are amazing. As well as your bandmates. Hard to believe this was so long ago. But it’s still fresh today.

I want to close my eyes and make music with Tina Dico.

Would you give a guitar lesson for this and your wonderful " time to sleep " ??

Well, I like to think so, but I really don't believe so.
Pure white music for a white audience. Tony, Greece.
Very beautiful smart cool chick, but I doubt she would make a good life mate, too wild
