- Since 9/11 the Ayn Rand Institute has argued that the Iranian regime - not Iraq or Afghanistan - is central to the Islamic totalitarian movement. Because of an evasive, appeasing policy, America has encouraged Iranian aggression - against the U.S. and Israel. Great compilation. Not only does it show that indeed you were right about this the whole time, it also shows why you were right. First principles thinking has the power to predict the future.
For those new here this should really be a reason to look deeper into ARI’s analyses, or even Ayn Rand’s own writings more broadly. Being so right while most people say the opposite is not an accident.
This is amazing content. Please more
They have the Right and Obligation. Well said. Evil wins when good people do What?
pacify or placate (someone) by acceding to their demands.
"amendments have been added to appease local pressure groups"
I would love to hear this without the annoying and unnecessary music.
This is directed at people who have first time exposure to ARI or a general audience. The music is fine.
i thought it was good. made it more dramatic because it is
We forgot Saudi Arabia...
Saudi Arabia was mentioned in the video, they have discussed Saudi Arabia many times elsewhere.
Iran is the greater Islamic threat today by a longshot.
The greatest threat to world peace is none other than MURICA and its western BULLYS😅😅😅😅@@alexanderscott2456
Well capitalism seems to have the upper hand in Saudi Arabia,Egypt,Jordan, and Qatar.
They all helped Israel for whatever reason to destroy the Iranian missles last weekend.
You misidentify the nature of those societies. They are fascist theocratic empires. You don't own land nor oil. Their technology came from the free nations not from the Koran. Do you recall how the oil wells were nationalized. That's not capitalism.
Nobody speaking appears to have an understanding of how Iran came to be what it is from the hands of the Dulles brothers. Why is that?
You're no doubt referring to the so called coup in 52 against Mosadeg....!
This is too far away and that the British were the main instigator or planner of the supposed coup. Beside: it wasn't a coup per say even if it had not happened bringing back the Monorchy which is the primary cultural hegemony uniting Iran in an extension of preferred parliamentary Monorchism. Put it differently even if under Mosadeg Iran would've taken the other so called democratic path where every 4 years presidency would be up to the electorate, Iran would most likely turn out to be another Pakistan in that region.
So, don't be too certain that switching to so called 3rd grade level so called democratic electoral system will work fine for Iran! The country is much better conditioned with parliamentary Monorchy where the the institution of Monarchy can represent stability & cultural traditions of Iran is represented through it ...
@@ferdinandmaximillanus9370 the military component, i.e the tribes, were funded and armed by the CIA in order to enact the goals of the Dulleses.
How Iran came to be is irrelevant. It’s what it is that matters.
@@kevinmcfarlane2752 If I am to buy in to your hypothesis that history is not relevant, then I also have to believe that Peikoff wasted hundreds upon hundreds of pages in his books on history.
@@DerykRobosson The Founding Fathers didn't become the equivalent of jihadists because of their grievances against the Crown. They established a free country based on the principle of individual rights.
Iran had a relative history of being steeped in modernity. The fact that they eventually embraced Islamic theocracy as its government is worse than a completely uncivilized nation doing so. You can't explain that because of a perverted historical narrative about the CIA 25 years prior. It is about the religious ideas that Iran embraced and that Iran continues to embrace to this day.
No they have been stupid for decades
Appeasement is stupid
