Amazing how wooden surfaces visually make a room warmer. When you showed the finished shelf installed, I thought your below decks room looks way more comfortable. More so after you put those floor planks on - even though they take away more headroom of course.
Maybe consider a little trolley below decks to help you move stuff forward or aft without ruining your back?

Take a little advice your battery shelf is awesome however u need to inclose the batteries in a sealed container with a vent to the outside of the hull otherwise the fumes will rust the interior of ur hull in short orde, been there done that

As a custom builder myself I always appreciate how other people approach their own challenges. Sometimes I learn something and sometimes I cringe. Either way, I am SO thankful for this UA-cam platform! It's my only source of entertainment other than my own projects. I can't wait to see where this project goes. Subscribed.

Hi, there are specific high thrust propellers for outboard motors. If you don't already have them equipped it's probably a cheap way to get "more power". Also the batteries should be placed inside a battery tray. If they ever should explode or boil you don't want to have fluid in your bilge.

Looking good, one comment on your plank floor. If it was me, I would cut half of those first boards to end 1 section/metal strip earlier than the others and add another wood strip there for securement. this would allow you to alternate where each board ends and yield a stronger and better looking floor without the solid lines across at the end of each section of planks. A similar method but with many different lengths is used when laying down hardwood floors etc.
