My guess is that there was another, very strong villain that was trying to fight them. Celestia then asked Twilight to find a spell to make them stronger. Twilight did find one, but she didn't fully understand it, but she used it anyway. It backfired, and instead fused all the princesses together. They lost their fight and are now lost, wandering through the dark trying to unfuse them for good.

Yeah, the only different is the ending. In yours they ran away. In mine they lost and were trapped in darkness
Or....you know...They were all injected with determination and then melted because their bodies couldn't handle it.

I saw something like this online but you did it a lot better. Its amazing. It's like some horrible experiment gone wrong. Eternal pain and agony. Well done. (I know that's dark) it should definitely have more views. I especially love the dead, hazy eyes!

Celestia,Luna and Cadence stood there,ready to fight off the worst enemy they could ever face.Near them was Princess Twilight,a spell to make them more powerful
Luna:Twilight,use the spell! *She beckoned*
Celestia:Twilight now!
Cadence:Now!
Suddenly,a powerful shot of colorful magic hit them like a ton of bricks.The four princesses screamed in agony,soon they were revealed to be this Nightmare,the four were blending together,Celestia and Cadence’s heads were clearly shown but Luna and Twilight were stitched together almost,blood drips down their legs and eyes like water,Twilight saw what she’d done as she heard Celestia scream out,the four ran off into The Everfree Forest,never showing their faces and horrible mangled,bloody and disfigured body until they re-do the spell and are back to normal
Twilight:What have I done..........I’ve created Nightmare Fuel of history........

Okay, a few things. Absolutely fabulous work and concept. Second, the fact that you actually used stipling on the wings? Amazing! Third, the way you did the manes, tails, and shading? Hot damn! Fourth? Cadance's eyes looked really goofy at first and made me giggle. All in all, incredibly done!

I really like how u draw them on ur own version especially the legs and hoofs. They looked like real horses when it comes to that. Also the wings and horn then the hair I love how u shade them too and how u color it.

Ok so this is like my favorite thing. I’m a sucker for gory images and creepy things in general and this just hit every mark possible for me. It’s creepy, there’s plenty of blood, the art style is fantastic, the choice in music went along with the art, it’s perfectly unsettling. You deserve so many more likes, comments and subscribers
