I'm here, not sure why I'm looking at a privileged (lol) right hander explain how to wear a watch lol. It's always on my right wrist, feel like I bump into less stuff this way.
I'm a righty but I wear my watch on my right hand because it feels natural and comfortable there.
I'm right handed, I rather wearing my watch on my left wrist. More comfortable, no scratches, less damage. Wear it on whatever wrist makes you comfortable. Comfort is important!

You should never use the crown when a watch is on your wrist. You can damage the stem because of awkward angles it can be put to.
I grew up wearing my watches on my right hand although I'm a righty, then i change to left due to feeling my gshock hindered a lot of my movements. Nowadays watch on the left, my garmin monitor at right
I'm a lefty and wear mine on my left hand so I can use the crown. I wear all my watches regularly and don't plan on selling any of them so I'm not bothered about a few scratches
I just tried on my right. I feel more comfortable .... just be more careful with it. And by the way we dun adjust our watch daily.

I’ve always wear my watch on my left wrist. Because I’m right handed. In the 2000 decade I switch it over to my right wrist and wore it for like 4-5 months. But decided to switch it back to my left wrist. I feel funny having it on my right wrist. But others can wear it on whichever wrist they want. I know a man he’s right handed but been wearing a watch on his right wrist since he was a kid. Nothing wrong with that.

Not sure I understand the pressure or question either way. Why are people asking you what hand they should wear their watch on? Might as well ask you which ring they should put their wedding band on and which underwear to buy. I understand wanting an opinion yet this isn’t Sunday school. You’re an adult. My grandpa was left handed and always wore his watch on his right wrist... so of course when I started wearing one, I followed suit and now it’s natural for me to wear it on my right wrist although I’m right handed. He had some pretty impressive watches including a Tiffany Rolex that a woman bought for him after he successfully removed a cancerous tumor from her leg that other surgeons couldn’t remove, and they would advise for her to get the leg amputated, but he removed it and saved her life. He never wore that watch because of the value and expensiveness of it. He passed away in December 2020 at age 90. He was a good man.

I’m right handed and have always preferred to wear my watch on the right wrist, I also think it looks far better with the crown facing inward rather than outward on the arm.

For the longest time, I thought people can wear their watches on whichever side.
I had no idea the majority of people all over the world love to wear their watches on the their left arm when you are a right-handed person. I too am right-handed but I love to wear a watch on my right arm. I do try to wear my watch on my left arm recently from time to time, but I find it more comfortable to wear my watch on my right arm.
Another reason, is that when I tries to wear my watch on my left, I was struggling to strap it there, but when I wear it on my right there was little struggle.
I'm the same to me having a watch on my left wrist just feels weird and unnatural where as on my right wrist it feels so normal
I’m not a lefty but I prefer wearing my Apple Watch on my right wrist is good because the Apple Watch gives your that option to switch the screen … also it matches my tattoos and I feel different cuz I don’t see many people wearing it on right wrist and I like it 😁😁
My Apple Watch is my hands free when driving so it’s better on my right hand Or else when changing gears people can’t hear me so well.
Well I would simply say; Wear your watch on the wrist you feel is the most comfortable. Like for me (im lefthanded) but I still highly prefer to wear my watches on my left hand, and thats simply just becase its more comfortable for me. I have even tried for a long time to wear it on my right wrist, but it never feels right and I always go back to wearing it on my left wrist.

I rock my Casio on the right. I just like it. Im also slightly ambidextrous. Besides handwriting I use my left hand for pretty much everything I use my right hand for. I eat with it, I work with it, everything.

I'm a lefty that's why I use my watch at my right hand, but sometimes I whant don't look odd and I wear my watch at my left had like normal people doo. I was researching, because a girl asked me today why I was wearing my watch at my right and I told here because I'm a lefty and I was hand writting with my left hand, and looking at my watch that was at my right. Any way is a more confortable way for leftis. Lots of left handed people like my grandpa uses their watches at their right

Right handed here. I've always worn it on my right hand, mostly because so does my dad. Now, he says he was born left-handed and was forced to become right-handed when he was a little boy, and still is right-handed to this very day but says some actions just feel more natural with his left hand. I've never damaged my watches, not that I recall. I do however take it off whenever I'm going to do some physical work and a watch is not needed around!

But if you wear a digital watch, you won't have a hard time adjusting the time as all you can do is press the buttons.
If I want to adjust or winding an analog watch, I always take it off from my arm.

First of all I would never do car repairs or maintenance with my watch on. I ALWAYS take it off before doing any work that may cause damage to my watch. I've got watches that are over 20 years old and they still look like new

I write left handed, bat right handed, throw harder with my right but more accurate and natural feeling with my left (no problem throwing with both hands), box left handed, snowboard right handed, shoot my rifle on my left and pistol with my right.
I had no idea woodsmen like you wore white gloves. I'm not ambidextrous, but for some strange reason I have taken to wearing my watches on both wrists. Some days right and some left. I'm right handed by the way, but i did break my right arm ( yes i know this comment is quickly devolving into boredom) playing softball a few years ago and for a few weeks I had to do everything with my left hand, so maybe that's an explanation, but the truth is I like seeing the crown.
