Superb Woody, Gleason 9 stage 4, research ,hormone treatment, diet , exercise for me, almost two years ago I thought I was doomed, Easter 22 it took until November 22 for me to drop on someone in same boat but 8 years in front of me, massive moment, tide turned for me, I could see hope, and thats what this channel gives, it gives hope. Fit bit watch, Christmas present, we soon get to like the pats on back that we get from these things, whatever gets you moving is worth the expense, keep at it Woody, no need for replies seeing you fit and well is good enough Phil
Thanks for your videos Woody!! Please keep them coming. I have Stage IV with a Gleason score of 9-10 in the 10 specimens they took out of the 13 total. Lupron injections every 3 months and a daily Erleada pill. I live in Texas, USA and your videos mean a lot!! Blessings to you!!
Thank you Woody for your videos!! They are giving me great hope for the future. Been diagnosed 1 year now stage 4, on 3 monthly Zoladex shots and daily 250mg Zytiga, so far PSA has remained stable at 0.1. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Hang in there, Woody. I'm. Stage 2, 3+4. I was diagnosed in April and had my surgery in July. I pray that God brings you through. I also pray all treatments are effective. Take care, and thanks for sharing!!
Walking 5-6 miles a day really improves the mind. If you can tolerate the pain take up light cycling too and work up to longer distances. It really increases health. Walking 5 miles a day has also shown to bring down A1C in 3 months, which helps since blood sugar has been linked to cancer. Too much sitting is also a negative risk factor. Keep active daily always.
Woody- thanks for this. It sounds like your treatment is working really well- The way it has gone for your mets. I really find that exercise helps me deal with the fatigue. I started getting into bike riding when I got my diagnosis ( Stage 4 like you). Now if I have a day when I can’t get onto the bike it pisses me off - It will save me from this disease as much as any of the tablets or radio that I have had. It is also great for my mental state - it feels like I am doing my bit to fight this.
Good thread. How do i cope? I cope by walking as much as possible. With the dog, or out in nature (can't take my little dog in nature because of coyotes). Similar to you Woody, just being aware of the natural world. Being present, enjoying a chat with a neighbour. Also i rest when my body says rest.
Walking is really good and enjoying the real world, nature, too. But sometimes fatigue is strong and it is not easy to walk. Especially because nerves in my legs were damaged by cancer in spine. With best wishes for your health.
God bless you in your PCa journey It is a challenge My dx wasn’t as severe but I still get fatigue & unmotivated but I must try not to become a hypochondriac & worry about everything but to discern what needs attention Not easy it is a real challenge Thank you from Chicago
New to your channel sir, watching from SoCal. I've had high PSA readings that fluctuate quite regularly and have been doing repeat PSA tests every 6 months but I'm about to go see my urologist for most likely a biopsy. Appreciate the videos, your attitude is inspiring and may God bless you. Good day sir.
Thank you John, I'm sorry to hear of your own diagnosis. The best thing is to stay as positive as possible there are many treatments just around the corner ❤️🙏

I aim to start walking a bit more once the fatigue of the radiotherapy wears off, I'm working full time so most evenings I come home exhausted ❤️🙏
You have a good positive outlook enjoy your life none of us are guaranteed tomorrow and you have life and are positive a great example to me.
I appreciate that thank you 🙏❤️

That's great Derek, I'm seriously considering getting a bike in the summer
Good idea - It is a great cardio work out and also strength for the legs and core, and doesn't do your joints in. @@Livingwith-prostatecancer

It's a real challenge but I'm learning to not stress out over things that are not in my power to change.
Good luck to you to James
You're in my prayers.
Thank you 🙏
