Remember when it was normal to go to a restaurant as a kid and look forward to a kids menu and crayons??? Now all you see is kids out to eat with an iPad propped up in front of them not engaging whatsoever. Come on people. Do better.
My granddaughters were given the choice of Quinceanera or trip anywhere in the world. They took the trip. My son said taking 3 people on a 2 week vacation to first granddaughter london, paris and rome, second grandaughter is currently in Spain, is cheaper than a Quinceanera. 🤯😂 they chose well, one is a party with your family and friends, the other is a core memory with your parents.❤

Actually those parties are getting out of hand, now it’s more like a trend than a cultural tradition. The original tradition is no longer carried, parents used to give a doll as a gift to symbolized leaving childhood behind and entering womanhood. Sadly that’s no longer a tradition.

We have Over a Hundred and fifteen years of family photos of these traditional events...we celebrate we love we give and we are happy...Why are you mad??? This is nice! She has parents who really love her. I have 3 kids and the oldest two show a lot of emotion but the youngest doesn’t show a lot(unless she’s really mad lol)so I can’t always tell if she’s super happy about something. It’s normal for some teens to act more reserved.
Well that's why you have like 20 padrenos lmaooo! They all get one item for the event one for the shoes,crown,doll ,ring,pics etc...so parents get help. Then also remember most of the huge 15's that look like weddings are done back in mexico because it's a quarter to a half of the cost than it is here in US.
I feel like she was wanting something more extravagant. These parties are crazy. Why not set that money aside for adulthood or help buy her first home.

Is it just me or is it awkard to reveal assembled furniture as a present at a coming of age party? Alot of work went into assembling those, transporting them to the venue, makimg those pvc curtain arches on a plywood board on wheels. I wouldve just prefered to have them delivered at her house. I dont know. Im all for showing off on her special day, but its not like its a car
