Alaska Adventure Hunting: Brown Bear, Dall Sheep, Caribou, Moose Season 4 (Part 1)

- With almost 3 months spent guiding throughout the great state of Alaska, I am excited for the release of Season 4. After 14 years of guiding, it seems like each year gets better and better; great hunters, great animals, some great weather, but some not-so-great-weather, AGGRESSIVE bears, and early ice made for a memorable season and some AWESOME footage. For over 4 hours, you will join the stalk with my hunters and me for 3 Dall sheep, 3 barren ground caribou, 3 brown bear, 1 grizzly bear, and 2 moose. In all, 11 animals are taken, with 10 complete hunts captured on film. As always, I have tried to keep this video as raw and candid as I dare. I know everyone will appreciate this great country and its magnificent wildlife that I am lucky enough to live amongst each year.

Billy your videos are very educational and super interesting. I'm an old man todays my 72 nd birthday. If Id of lived my later years hunting and fishing I'd be chasing a dream. After 50 watching your videos is being in my 20s again. Just being with mother nature for real is the best deal God gave man. Those are thes blessings of life the simple things. Cherish every moment and all living things for we only go around once. Keep the faith there's a bonus for trophy flies. Up there mosquito s got to be on that bucket list too

I got to meet Billy last year. Ran into him at the Ted Stevens airport on our way back from our Bear hunt, and I got my picture with him. He was surprised I knew who he was. I told him he's like a celebrity in my world! haha. I love your videos Billy , keep em coming!

Always good to see my long time neighbor and friend Stan in your movies. By the way Billy, I couldn't make out the single shot rifle that the Spaniard carried. It looked similar to my Blaser K77 but it could also have been a Merkel K2. They are marvelous rifles since they can be taken apart within seconds and fit easily inside the backpack.
A tradition in the northeast I hope that never fades!

Well I seldom comment on videos But I really Love your Videos as they are so inspiring. I've watched a lot of them more than once. My grandma tried to make me eat liver when i was a little kid and I would just gag. My whole family would eat liver and onion and I went Hungry. 😝🤮 Anyway I love how you do things and can so relate to the things you teach. I would LOVE to hunt with you someday. Keep up the great work.

I only saw one other guy holding a gun like that, and he is Canadian... That Canadian can also build a mean left-handed knife.. you can give Mike his number if he ever needs a good knife!
I also could set you up with a Right-Handed Canadian who fabricates a deadly custom bipod... if a guy doesn't want to use it for a bipod you could always use it for hiking sticks...

I have probably told this on here before, but my child 18 at the time took an axe straight to his foot 1st day in the boundary waters 1st trip ever. We were so lucky that we were only an hour paddle from the car. My buddy here has insurance good insurance and he had to wait like 6 months to have hernia surgery. It's weird and not comforting when they make a person wait a long time for surgery. We live about an hour south of Duluth. Go out to the st Croix state park all the time. Way to getting him out of there. So awesome.

You must walk some sort of miles let alone the extra trips to and fro to get the camera set up for some of the shots

Love hunting its me and my grandson, there is nothing that can exsplain how itnfeels to help someonw ya love to learn shooting safety achery do's and donts. I have been hunting for 30 years g4andson is on his 2nd year now. We are gonna get a new bow this week for him, looking at the elite terrain bow heard a lot of good stuff about it.
He had the mathews Mission hammer but he has grown rt out of it. Like your videos not a butt loaf of buy this top Of the line stuff. When you can use. Basic starting equipment and still do the same thing. Keep putting videos on me and grandson watt ch themand learn a lot, 30 years hunting and ill be the first to say you can teach a old dog new tricks all the time.

Great video. Thank you. Have you ever had to use Citric Acid to put a protective coating on your meat? I watched one man who took in powdered citric acid and created solution he sprayed on the meat quarters and back straps [no cape]. It put a sort of blackened layer on the meat but that protected it [from insects I think] It was the 1st time I ever saw that done.

For the past month or so I've been hiking with some inlaws and family and I've seen 2 bears a grizzly bear and a black bear

There will always be haters and antis. I cut my teeth at deer camp in Northern Michigan in the 60's and Jesus found me. So I don't watch regular TV. You do an excellent job narrating Bill. I'm gonna have to buy some of your Dvd's .

May I ask why it takes so long to upload your video's? 10+ years seems like a long time.
These are my thoughts on the Dall sheep that you might understand .
To me , the Dall sheep is a mystical animal . Because of there stoick stance and soft looks , I call them the guardians of the path that leads to heavens gates !!!! When you hunt them , both the sheep and God look into your soul . If you are a good person and are following the path God put before you , that sheep will appear and give up its life for you !! He will only if there are more guardians behind him to take up the roll . NO HUMAN deserves it or deserves anything !! If both the sheep and God see you are not going to give up and giving all you have to climb those mountains , at the top of the last mountain you climbed and have nothing left , that sheep will appear and be there waiting for you !!! In all the sheep hunts you have for everyone to see , you are never able to stalk a Dall sheep . The sheep never moves for you to follow his trail or hide behind bushes for you to seek out . Those big majestic sheep are ether there waiting for you or there not . If they are not , don't blame the sheep , the weather or the climbs but look into your life and fix what's wrong . All needs to be well in your soul before the sheep will give up its life for you !!! If Jesus is now a huge part of your life , I'm sure you will understand what I'm saying .
