I ran into a problem. I wanted to program 2 extra keys, for a total of 3. When the SSB asked how many keys I wanted to program, I input 2. Then followed the directions on the screen. Only one of the keys would program, after testing. I then tried again, on the key that would not program, this time directing the SSB to program just one, but it would not do it. I am wondering if it is just a defective FOB, or if I did something wrong?
It's now a new device. The software is 2010 which makes it useless for newer models, and without being able to connect to a computer using the serial cable you cannot get updates.
Unfortunately the one I bought from a wholesale website (DHgate.com) in China is a fake. It looks exactly like the one in the video here. But there is no label on the back with the serial number, documentation and manuals were not included, and the damn thing won't connect to my computer with the 9 pin serial cable. Makes the software on the computer useless.
I highly doubt it works on anything actually. Every demonstration of the product which was performed by a buyer and not someone trying to sell them or a service utilizing the POS (as in this video) results in failure.
Keith Parker some vehicles for the remote portion does not need a tool to program each make and model vehicle has a different procedure to follow and you'll be able to program your remote portion of it without the key programmer you only needed to key programmer the program the key portion and you can find a procedure or how to program your remote control portion online by doing a Google search of the make and model and year of your vehicle cuz that's how I program my Mazda remotes and I've used the scan tool to program the key portion.
the real SILCA SBB programmer is a great tool. However these chinese knock offs are not them. The company who uploaded this video is showing in use a real SILCA system. You will notice that the one sold on the site does not have the SILCA logo on the top. These tools are in the thousands. As stated though if it works a couple of times it has paid for itself, but these can also easily cause thousands in damages. The price of the real equipment being why dealers charge so much.
Hi can anyone help me I have a 07 Nissan Sentra that has a alpha numeric pin code but there are no instructions on how to input letters into the programmer i have had success with the other vehicles I have done but this one I am unable to finish due to the fact that I cant input letters into it ,
Reginald Muhammad when doing the input code keep pushing the up Arrow and I'll go from 0 to 9 and then if you keep on pushing the up Arrow after that it will do the letters and then use the right arrow to go to the next one and do the same procedure and so on and if you need to go back use left Arrow if you accidentally put the wrong number or letter in.
Reginald Muhammad and if you have problems with the input code try looking for some apps on your smart phone and download them there are some apps out there that work pretty good for giving you the input code and some of the apps you have to pay to use and some of the apps are free I seen the pay ones work pretty good and I seen the free ones work pretty good.
