      At tsaka, Mga bayani natin gaya ni Rizal. Ayaw nila mahiwalay tayo sa España. Gusto lang nila tratuhin tayo ng pantay-pantay.

      @@kjon2503 It's exclusive in some parts of spain where z and soft c always represent a sound called a voiceless dental non-sibilant fricative [θ]. Parang "th" ng think or through. So, educación would be like "educathion". Whereas, "Seseo" is generally used in Latin America. :)

      Yeah I know, But I'm referring about the "LL" , 'IE", "IO", "IA" sounds. Only Filipinos pronounce it differrently.
      For example:
      "Ll"
      Paella, Villa, Castillo
      Filipino: Pa-el-ya, Vi-li-ya, Cas-til-yo
      "IE" 'IO" "IA"
      Atienza, Adios, Sebastian
      Filipino: A-tsen-sa, A-dyos, Se-bas-tyan

      @@kjon2503 Hmm interesting. The sound filipinos apply to the words that has "Ll" or originally written in that digraph is called "lleísmo". I've only read about this, but it's somehow said to be an archaic feature of spanish/castellano that remained in local speech and in some regions of Spain and Latin America. While, "Yeísmo" became a wide trend in spanish speaking countries but not so much in the PH. I assume this is perhaps due to the spanish language wasn't strongly-developed in the country and later on fell out of wide use after the second world war. That's why only fragments of its features survived and used differently in various local languages. Which why inconsistencies like Sibuyas (Cebollas)[Yeísmo] and Balyena (Ballena)[Lleísmo] are not similarly pronounced despite both containing the "Ll" in their original Spanish spelling. The propagation of a more native phonology in education during the 20th century and non-exposure to spanish also contributed to further diversion in pronunciation on loanwords. Sadly, very rare are the reliable linguistic studies about this that I could find online. This is only a speculation of mine that I've pieced together according to some readings and personal observation.

    Siguro nawirduhan yung mga Español sa pagsasalita ni Kara. May naririnig silang Español at Ingles pero di nila maintindihan sinasabi ni Kara. Hehe.

    A "socarrat" in a paella is actually an unburnt "Tuttong", which, I think most Filipinos do not like it so much being a "tutong". The "best" paella, according to Spaniards is one when the rice is "al dente", meaning, crunchy or crispy of a sort, which is another thing Filipinos do not appreciate it very much as they conder it as "hilaw".

    Soy Filipino pero yo vivo en España for algun momento. La pronunciación más correcto de valencia y paella por castellano es /ba-len-thi-yah/ y /pa-e-yah/ . También, paella valenciana es la mejor en todo España.

      One of the best foods that I've ever tasted in my whole life is Arroz Valenciana. We had a family friend who hails from Iloilo when I was a child and I remember they always prepare this magnificent food every Christmas and New Year. So many years have passed and sometimes I still crave to have it again because of its delectable taste apart from it being gooey. One time I tried to cook it as good as I can but when I got it tasted, everything turned out to be perfect, except that there was an after taste akin to the taste when you eat fish which is not cooked well. I realized that I used a cow's liver instead of that of the pig.It's actually a big fail. I hope to cook it again when I have ny vacation in November where pig's liver is readily available.

    Paella is in Castillano or Castillan dialect, Paelya is in Catalan dialect. Infact, Spain ha 4 different dialects From the North, West, East and South, respectively.

    Ganyang ganyan iluto sa Iloilo except lang ung kahoy at sa klase ng bigas. Together with La Paz batchoy and Pancit Molo comida provincial na ng Iloilo yan. At least ang Ilonggo loyal sa Spanish recipe nyan pati sa tutong.

    I like that Valencia is pronounced correctly with "th" as in Valenthia. As well as "Ciudad" as in Thiudad and Paella with a "y" as in "Paeya". :)

    Spaniards pronounce Valencia as "Valenthia" - that is the correct European Spanish pronunciation. However, the French pronounce Paris as "Pahree" - we all know this. But no one says "Pahree" when talking in English or Tagalog because it sounds unnatural... I think Miss Kara should have pronounced Valencia as "Valensia" - the way Latinos and Filipinos naturally say it - as she is not speaking Euro Spanish anyway.

      She has all the right to pronounce it correctly. She's speaking to the native speakers and in their own country. If she's speaking to a Filipino she can pronounce it in Filipino way. It's very rude to insist in doing what is wrong specially to the native speaker.

    what a nice video, but it’s so sad how she needs a translator to speak to the owner. only if the philippines would have implemented spanish along side filipino and english, would there have been such a difference. never the less amazing video :)

      Yep, me pagka smoky ang flavor nya, parang pag bumili ka ng andok's or baliwag na manok, naiimpart ung smoky flavor sa inihaw na manok. Yung mga ginagamit na panggatong me certain flavor na binibigay. Bawal gamitin ung mga madagta na kahoy tulad ng mangga me pagka mapakla, at ung mga pang gatong binibilad talaga ng matagal sa arawan para maging dry wood.

      In Spain we pronounce C and Z like "Th" unlike the Latin American Spanish pronounce it as "S"
