I Love Cardigan Corgis'.I have 3 of them.Such a Great Breed.💜🐶
Watch for bladder stones in both Cardigans and Pembroke, in males the stones can block their urethra and they will die when their bladder explodes. It is a serious medical emergency when they stop peeing, a vet can do a needle drain of the bladder but then there is a surgery to remove the stone blockage. Have your dogs urine tested for crystals regularly as then a vet can prevent stones with a special diet.
We have a rescue Cardigan. PERFECT DOG! Wouldn’t take $1M for her. Gets along very well with our other dog and cats.
Will adopt another.
Now my cardigan is 23 months old. So much fun n training needed still. 😌 at least she is always there.
I have a blue Merle named Wilbur. He’s not quite a year old. He’s bad. But we love him. Can’t wait to get through his teenage years 😅
Puppies sleep like a human at times , on their back . UNUSUAL , odd , but cute .
I had a beautiful cardigan welsh corgi named Shelby she died of cancer she was a rescue dog I hope I can find another dog like her

I had a cardigan collie cross called Bob. He looked like a corgi, just with slightly longer legs. We lost him this year and it broke my heart - Bob was a once in a lifetime dog and his beautiful tail was very similar to the wee fella in this vid. Long live the Bobster……

My corgi, at a year old, last weighed in at 45.6 lbs. And he is not fat. 😆
Ours is what the vet calls a natural jumbo corgi, the vet says he is a very healthy 45lbs. He is big everywhere, more to love!
Mine weighs 47 lbs... almost as much as my Samoyed chow mix did. But he is not fat. He has a waistline, he is just muscular. The vet couldn't believe it and re-weighed him. Sure enough 47 pounds. He isn't 100% corgi... mostly, but he has JRT, a little beagle and a little GS. He is very energetic and well-exercised. But he looks just like a corgi, the fave, the ears, the long body, the coat... just has longer legs. Like a corgi on stilts lol. He is so sweet and so fun. I love him to pieces
@@lizkrinsky5209 So, mine finally finished growing. He's 52 lbs. After speaking with the vet, she thinks he should not gain any more but could shed 2 lbs. 52lbs!!! I still can't believe it. I'd never heard of a 50 lb corgi before that wasn't insanely fat.
They don't get as much love as the Pembrokes. Sad!

Look for akc registered breeders or a corgi mix (or a rescue of course!) or you’ll be in for all sorts of expensive genetic health problems.
