Europe glorifies their culture and lifestyle through wealth and prosperity , which is why Europe is looked upon like a beautiful and sparkly diamond. Even though our world is geographically diverse , with a range of different countries and ethnicities with their own historical backgrounds and significant cultural representations, sumptuousness will always get the better of people .

A lot of people I know who traveled the world in the military have told me that there is so much in the US that we take for granted. I am so fortunate that I can study engineering here at a top school. It’s not perfect, but it’s diverse and relatively new, and beautiful. Being able to see so many different climates and geographical differences in one country is so cool too!

I can't speak for all of Europe but the UK is miserable. Low wages (which have been functionally stagnant for 20 years) like you mentioned, combined with a high cost of living, awful weather year round, little to no sense of community. A lot of my American friends are anglophiles and think the UK is all posh accents and tea drinking, while anyone who lives here and wants better (better wages, better working environment, better sense of community, etc.) is looking to leave or has already left. With the economy, the cost of living, and the general quality of life, I wouldn't recommend anyone from a western nation choosing the UK.
