- We experienced an Insane day in Canada today. It's December 24th 2022, Right after the crazy winter storm yesterday and crazy winds Amit shilpa have a power cut. We start driving in our car to attend a holiday party but have a ton of issues. First an issue with the tires and then with charging. But in the end have an amazing experience at the holiday party.

You can open driver side door by app now after new software upgrade , update app on phone as well first , it opens it electrically ,door handle doesn,t need to pop out for that

U can keep that in ur car in case tesla superchargers are not working like today...

There are options for this but not that feasible. It’s very very slow right now.

Personally in our house only 1-2 times in last 10 years for a max of 1 hour. But depends on the damage by storms in other areas, i have seen people losing power for a few days.

Why don't you coverd your cars with cover?
It is generally not recommended to cover a car with a cover during a heavy snowstorm because the weight of the snow can damage the cover and potentially the car itself

It is better to choose your location keeping in perspective pros and cons. I am in US. In US we use Fahrenheit. Normally states like North Carolina will have mild winter. Approx 24F. NY was on high alert with power cut off and public advised to go to community Center where fireplace was available.

There was a supercharger outage across GTA on 24th .. hard luck .. even I faced the same !! Keep CCS adapter handy for future
Ahh I had no idea. Generally don’t have to use supercharger in GTA as I always have it charged up

I am curious to know since it does not snow where I live but my question is wouldn’t it be more convenient to use car covers before it snows and will it not be easy to just remove the cover and snow just falls off and door handles and whole car stays clean from snow.
Probably in less snow, but the way it snows in Canada chicago or NY it will be too heavy to pull the cover off

Tesla is so poorly put together it is fun watching the fanboys and girls. I take my Mustang Mach-e to Muskoka where -20 + is very common. And I also park the car outside. No worries.🤣🤣
