Jay You're a diamond, thanks for the shout out mate, it's much appreciated!! That's the first time someone has done that & it means a lot, as for the video I'm impressed with the amount of lobsters you find, even if they are not all legal size, there's hardly any, where I live in the Thames estuary (not on the shore anyway) so it's good to see someone smashing it somewhere else, it's good to see things like Giant Gobies, ormers & squat lobsters too & it's no surprise to me that your channel is becoming so successful, it's enjoyable to watch & informative & I'm slightly jealous as you're living my dream!! All the best, Paul. p.s.If you ever want to forage & cook some of the giant rock oysters I find local to me, I'll show you around anytime mate.
Shore Fishing Essex no problem at all mate it’s nice to see you back 👌 I love the foraging you do an in the future il try pop over the pond haha thanks for watching an keep the vids coming ✌️🎣🎣
On top of your enthusiasm for what you find I really love your respect for environment and local laws. The way you make sure rocks are turned back and how you get mad at those who don't , is spot on.I know that a lot of people just go to the water and take take take, with no care. I really respect your integrity. It's very honest the way you measure everything and stay with in seasonal laws. As always a great video. Keep up the hard work, and thank you for providing entertainment. It's a wonderful distraction to help during uncertainty in the world.
For someone who lives miles from the beach i would really like to give the foraging ago but having no idea the only guide lines i could follow is by watching yours and others video's, keep up the good work chaps and Woo; one secret i will let you into is at the age of 74 i have never tried Lobster or eaten anything but tinned crab so when i watch you having your cook ups i sit here and can almost taste what your cooking.
Please keep uploading I love watching people do catch and cooks, I especially find this beautiful because there is so much life where ever that is💙 how incredible
I love the way you treat your wildlife. So much respect👍🏽 Some may not be as nice in America. They must teach being thoughtful about your environment at a young age.❤️❤️❤️
When i first started watching you, even now...i LOVE watching you...and Sam (woohoo!!) do your thing but your lobster is BLUE! Us here in America don't have blue lobsters very often. Ours are a rusty color before cooking. I live in florida and one of these days i will go on a mooch about and take pics of it and send it to you so you can see what the "Larries" look like over on this side of the the pond.😉 ✌ peace to you my friends. And good journey to you and Sam!!💜
Well done on another great video mate. I don't live near the sea and I won't be foraging any time soon but I love what you do. Thanks for bringing this stuff to the masses. Peace
Hi jay, great video as always and your sea Life is amazing from colourful starfish, blennies, different kind of crab's and those tasty lobster's, keep the videos coming and happy hunting and tight lines 🎣🐟🦞🦀.
Hi Bud I’ m from Jersey Channel Islands but now live in Thailand , great watching your videos reminds me when I use to go low water fishing at Le Bourg in Jersey
Seeing the sea life as you come across them is so nice! You work so hard! I love how you take the time to teach us about what you find. Congratulations, you got your Lobster! Nice video! Thank you!
Yay!! Nothing better than waking up to a notification of you uploading a new video! Just yesterday I was wondering when would you post one :) great as usual!! Cheers from Spain.
We used to modify a wire coathanger to poke in the marsh holes on the Norfolk coast. Crabs and Lobsters would grab the hook allowing them to be drawn out of their hidey holes.
Love the respect to nature. You could have easily kept all of those and cooked them, however you only ate your fill and left the rest. I don't think a lot of people would do that. You make me want to be better at it too. Cheers from TX, USA.
Jay, those sea urchin’s especially the purple ones will eventually take over that area. They are an invasive species and should be take out of your eco systems. They kill the kelp beds around the rocks. That could be why you are not finding as many lobbies. Fisher men on our west coast try and clean up as many of them as possible. Y’all have some healthy kelp beds would hate to see them destroyed.
They are not related to crayfish the other name for them is scampi or Dublin bay prawn the good gent who makes these vids does not seem to like them but i think they have a great taste
@@richcampoverde I was merely pointing out they looked similar. He also mentioned that they were small and not a lot of meat in them, so it might be better to cook many of them at once so you get a good amount of meat from them. But thanks for the other names, I will look them up.😉
River churnet scampi from the Adriatic are very expensive and gourmet (same species as Dublin bay prawn) they are actually langoustine lobsters I believe. Edit; $40 a kilo fresh so you could cook them by the hundreds if you were a fisherman or rich.
I wish there are places like that where I live cuz I wanna try find some clams and crabs ob my own 😂 but even if there are places like that i probably can’t go alone
Man I remember subscribing to you from a uk sea bass fishing group or something like that on Facebook and you only had 500 subs... good to see your channel doing so well man! God I want to live by the sea!

I got the urge to start going out again after watching your vids havnt went sea fishing in like a year and a half and iv been out 4 times in the last 2 weeks now. What you call squat lobsters look like what we call crayfish or crawdads here in the states. And when we cook them it's by the hundreds. 😉
They are not related to crayfish the other name for them is scampi or Dublin bay prawn the good gent who makes these vids does not seem to like them but i think they have a great taste

“Waving goodbye.” 😆 I don’t think it was waving. If a big alien, caught me and possibly wanted to eat me. I wouldn’t be waving goodbye.

Can you do a step by step of how you eat the lobster? Most folks struggle with getting the meat out easily.
