Cosmic King Thor is definetly one of the most powerful version's of Thor to date, Cates really showed how Powerful Thor is in this issue. However I do have two problems with this issue and even the last one, For one Donny cates completely ruined Galactus' character for the sake of shock and awe he retcons his origin story and says he's a slave of the BW which removes any kind of intimidation and fear Galactus originally had as a character and then he kills the BW right after this which to me is just shitty writing. My second problem is just....Thanos, They are over using him like crazy it's really annoying as if Jim starlin passed the torch to Cates as he was being dragged out of marvel, Thanos just needs to be put away for A LONG TIME, He's also getting a powerful artifact or army and taking over in a dark future we've seen this over 100 times already shit got old 20 year's ago, Can't believe they killed off the BW that fast issue was ok for Thor's power level but everything else in my opinion is uninteresting and disappointing. Also Galactus mine as well just stay dead forever his character is just nothing but a joke at this point, Now a days when we see Galactus in a story it's just "Oh that's Galactus the guy that gets his ass whooped in the book I just read last week".
@Adel Lawgaly I don't want to see Galactus or thanos again they'll just ruin Galactus like the writer's always do with character's like him and wank Thanos, There's a reason why Grant Morrison retconned the bullshit writer's did with Darkseid in DC when he made final crisis and I don't even think a writer doing something like that with Galactus would even work at this point.
I agree 100 percent...... This for me didn't make since for Galactus to be as powerful as he ever been to be killed and mocked like in this series(not to mention not having control over His own power cosmic). The build up was good and kinda had me excited about the conclusion, but wasn't what I expected... Galactus is one of my favorite but they killing his character... yes he may as well stay gone unless he's resurrected back on top of the power chain.. If his character is destroyed in comics it won't be a big deal too much for him to be in the MCU.
Frl, galactus is a universal punching bag at this point , despite the fact that the BW said Thor will kill galactus, he can’t do it at the level galactus is on, and the part where Thor takes away the power cosmic? I call bullshit on that, I think the worst part was where Thor then kills the black winter, I’m sorry but that ain’t it at all for me
Fernando my brother I loved it that was so awesome! Keep up the great work bro :) that was epic as ! Enjoyed it so much :) hope all is well down your and families end brother :)

I like how Thanos was foreshadowed as Thor's "true death", by the fact he was missing from Thor's antagonists who killed him in various iterations of his fate or his past deaths.
Winter forgot an essential element of the universe. That after every winter, there must come a spring, which means rebirth. And with every spring comes storms, and lightning, and... THUNDER.
What 's next with these kind of story writing? Maybe something like: J. Jonah Jameson humiliates and kills with a shotgun an overpowered Galactus, and lets throw in Thanos in last page...
When thor saw the black winter he saw his darkness his death one of the most ending that must succeed to his own climax, even though he defeated the black winter with the power cosmic, black winter show him his fate, that was a kickass story by the way
This is bittersweet. One of the greatest tests of power for Thor was his fight against Galactus way back in issue # 168. Now he can literally best Galactus, only to possibly fall to some super OP version of Thanos in the future. One thing is for certain, this is the 1st time in a long time that Thor has not been the punching bag.

Anthony Romero if you’re referring to Thor #161 than you’re mistaken. Galactus was already fighting Ego the living planet and when Galactus was gaining the edge, Thor stepped in to help Ego. When Thor alone proved to be no match against Galactus, a weapon was made to channel the power from Ego through Mjolnir. It was a actually a combined effort from Thor and Ego to defeat Galactus.
This Thor has less than half the Odin force, and already was stronger with ease than something Odin couldn’t do, I wonder if full Odin force thor here would have even needed the power cosmic.
My man thor has gone super saiyan blue against the black winter 😂😂😂 and really this issue is super dope... But the inconsistency in power that same thor got his ass whopen by galactus and he didn't consume all of the planet and now he just smacked him like an ant 🤨 that's weird but awesome as f***, also awesome video man for those that don't want to buy the comics it's a cool way for them to read it. So thanks Fernando.
Ngl, great that Thor seems this powerful, but the story is very underwhelming and this seems like an incredibly short resolution if it’s been built up only in like a few books and they’ve killed Galactus and the main villain already lmao
Also from looking at this again I see that Thor's fate in the end is just darkness. Aaron's run had Thor go into the darkness to save the last of the of the universe and Cates end ties right in but at least he's back to full glory now
Poor ol Galactus! Wow what a wacky fate in store for ol King o'Asgard, Thanos with a Horde of Superzombies and an Infinity Mjolnir along with a Finity left gauntlet.
Very impressed with the story!! Thor uses all of Galactus’ power against the one who gave him his power. Too bad Thor loses his power Cosmic...but puts down 2 multiversal threats. Clap for Thor. So...if Galactus is no longer there, will Abraxas come?? Has to...but the next plot too, damn! So much to think and predict!
What’s an epic battle Thor was so OP in this fight and I’m OK with that. Not sure how the universe is supposed to get along without Galactus since it has been said on multiple occasions he needs to exist. I’m interested in seeing how Thor’s choice may come back to haunt him. So far very good Donny Cates please keep it up.
Rune King Thor is much more powerful, this Thor is more powerful than Multiverse beings + like Odin, Galactus among others but Rune King Thor defeated the Gods that sit in the shadow, beings that in the comic Loki agent of Asgard compare in power to the Beyonders beings who even defeated the Living Tribunal an omniversal type. even Rune King Thor is an abstract entity.
Rune King Thor was not. Loki speculated that TWSAIS might have been Beyonders, but they weren’t Beyonders as Beyonders are beyond/separate from 616 totally and TWSAIS fed off of the Asgardian Ragnarok cycle. Loki speculation isn’t confirmation. RKT was nowhere near Eternity, he was essentially Odin plus an extra eye’s worth of Rune knowledge. RKT was equivalent to Odin with a slight buff. Dan Jurgens considered Galactus beyond Odin, btw.
@@supersaiyan2pres232 No xd, first Odin and Galactus are similar in power, second Rune King Thor is much more powerful than a normal eternity or M body which are only Multiversal + even Multi-eternity is insignificant for Rune King Thor Multi-Eternity is omniversal but it is inferior to Characters like the Living Tribunal, Rune King Thor even knew the past, he could guide the future, he could see beyond the void the cosmic architect became oneself with existence, apart from Loki it is not speculative the Shadow Gods in that comic, they are in a White place very similar to the Beyond Realm, the place where the Beyonders and the Beyonder Pre- recont come from an infinite place beyond the omniverse itself. Rune King Thor >>>>>>>>> this version of Thor.
Jonathan Jesus Quesada Gamboa wow love how you said it all ! I agree RKT was on another level he was super Uber ! Rekcon as well they will bring RKT back anytime soon : perhaps to beat the darkness entity etc ?
Jonathan Jesus Quesada Gamboa RKT didn’t do anything that put him on Eternity’s level. He smashed the loom of fate, beat Mangog, he didn’t defeat death (Or Hela) as he was saved by Odin’s sprit, destroyed Yggdrasil which is an axis point between pocket dimensions in the MU, and defeated TWSAIS mainly because sacrificing both of his eyes and hanging until death have him enough awareness to recognize the Ragnarok cycle. Oh, ant at the end he “gazed into Eternity” then fell into a coma. RKT was Thor + Odinforce with more knowledge and perception thanks to sacrificing both eyes to the Well of Mimir and handing until death. You way, way overrate RKT. I somehow doubt you’ve actually read that whole story. You should, instead of picking out misinterpreted scans on MBs.
@@jjqg6164 Stop comparing TWSAIS to beyonders, it's ridicolous and it makes no sense. Rune King Thor high multiversal/Eternity level at best, he never showed anything above that
The opportunity cost. It wasn’t worth it i just *wasn’t worth it* galactus character is spayed power and story wise here. I know thors had it rough for a while but the big G needed a pick me up too... i’m more disappointed than I was before.
For me Thanos is one of the best character ever made he inspired me in real life I can easely put it at the side of goku, superman and batman in therm of mythical Even if superman and goku dont really inspire me maybe a bit batman But thanos is the example of whatever how you was made however you are different your only limit is you You can get what you want if you really go for it. There is no villain or heroes no love no hate just goals💯
it's a good attitude to live by but do not confuse comic stories with real life. the old saying that "you can do whatever you want, if you try hard enough, the limit is only yourself" is just for comics and movies.all humans have some limitations they cannot overcome no matter what, it's just not possible. i'd say just be the best you can, at the things you are good at. it's important to have realistic goals, not fantasies.
Look at how the massacred my boy Galactus,i noticed this writer really hates galan. For this i won't be angry if Jason Aaron gets his hand on cosmic thor and make him job to captain america or something lol.😂,tbh Galactus shouldn't be getting drained ,he should be the one doing the draining,he is the ultimate energy drainer of marvel comics, this writer needs to do his homework regarding Galactus and other cosmic beings, the same guy made black bolt kill celestials and king thanos oneshotting a prepped Galactus. Donny cates sucks at writing cosmic entities
Who would win? A literal god of Norse mythology who wields one of the most powerful weapons in the universe, amped up with the power of his father, and a universal cosmic force? *OR* One hungry boy Nah jk I wish Galactus didn't go down so easy
Honestly felt like this story had no impact. So is the winter actually that much of a threat at all? Is it below knull? Will it all combine with knull, winter, one below all? What the point anymore
This was truly chilling. The end of Thor is revealed. But surely Donny Cates won’t let this happen? He won’t let the thunder king fall to an upstart demigod like so many others?!
On another note, Galactus is more powerful than ever. Does this mean he is more powerful than when he was in the Dr Strange comics when he went on a magic absorbing spree?
Slightly disappointed in how it ends. I wanted him to body Thanos next! Who knows maybe he’ll find a way to change his fate. But this entire journey was awesome!
I agree he was really powerful at a point and it really makes me happy. But two things saddens me. After the battle he lost his shining looj which kinda felt like the indication of depowering him to his previous version. (While I don't forget he killed the most powerful Galactus ever without an effort and killed one of the most powerful being in entire comic universe who have gave the powers of Galactus and killed the entire dc universe before coming here. He was universe eater yet Thor killed him) however still I would love to see more feats. At last, he was sitting so depressed on his throne like the times he wasn't able to lift his own hammer. Kinda it saddens me as I want to see him happy at least for a time being, being praised and appreciated as he deserves for it.
So after ALL of that... The ENTIRE story (and it was a good story) which would have summed up to like $40... just ends up with yet ANOTHER "derr herr big G suks big D" moment. Gay. Look I love Thor but I'm just so tired of seeing Galactus turn into the biggest Yamcha in comics. He used to be the dude that ate planets, was on par with death, beat myphisto in his own realm, and WHILE STARVING stalemated the Phoenix Force itself... Now he gets beat by Thor, Hulk, Ghost rider, Thanos, etc etc etc etc etc. He's BARELY even celestial leval now. And he got turned into a herald by Franklin Richards... who only even has powers because his parents got cosmic radiation... *WHERE IS MY REALITY ALTERING FORCE OF NATURE WITH ALL HIS PURPLE BLUE GLORY????*
🤣🤣🤣🤣 he's a joke now. For some reason they forget what they represented and the reason why they where feared. Is like juggernaut been ko by a bazooka in the war of the real issue.😆

I couldn't be happier Thor is finally where he should be I can only see the top tier cosmic beings giving this Thor a good fight im so happy he stomped galactus aswell. This is one of the reasons that i don't follow marvel comics like i used to before, too many changes to characters that is not logical. I have been reading comics for over 40 yrs now and some of the new things i see now are ridiculous. This series also confirms my point, while changes is welcomed they must be logical in the way its done, take this character galactus for example, marvel has built him up to portray a being of certain capabilities, over the last few years what they have done to him confuse the hell out of me. Now they have this character being defeated in the most illogical way by a other character that should not be able to do so and worst yet spin a different story on the character, The story is good, but at the expense pf dilluting my credeability with marvel comics and stories.

I call bullshit on that, I think the worst part was where Thor then kills the black winter, I’m sorry but that ain’t it at all for me
@@NP-zv4bf Yeah this issue had a lot of problems
@@NP-zv4bf agree

This is the thor we all want to see
and then he dies 😪
Now I'm curious what the timeline is when the King in Black arrives and how much Thor will play a part. You should definitely release Knull related content like him in Venom and Silver Surfer Black
This is a thor we deserve they should make more like this
The new permanent look with the helmet is perfect.
The Black Winter telling Thor that his death will be at the Hands of Thanos with a gauntlet and an infinite Mjolnir is God Tier stuff!
R.I.P.D galactus the jobber of all the abstract beings, may silver surfer find someone to adopt him, maybe the winter had other galactus lvl heralds
What winter? He's dead too Lols created a character to hype up Thor then kill him the next issue only in Marvel
@@cheeseburgerfreddy6350 I know he is dead and I definitely wanted to at least know his origins , but since eons ago he had galactus as a herald, maybe galactus wasn't the only one back then....
@@Lucky-qg6mu Yeah true but at this point I don't really care BW was created then instantly destroyed and tbh I wasn't impressed or interested in the slightest that entire retcon was stupid
@@cheeseburgerfreddy6350 it was kinda rushed, it could have been something more dynamic and to firmly establish just how they are in sync to the other abstracts.
@@Lucky-qg6mu Agreed

Awesome as always Fernando.
Thank you my friend !
When thor saw the black winter he saw his darkness his death one of the most ending that must succeed to his own climax, even though he defeated the black winter with the power cosmic, black winter show him his fate, that was a kickass story by the way
I remember if Galactus dies, the whole universe falls as well. But it seems to not apply in this case.
So it looks like Thanos but it isn't thanos it's the brood queen the brood marvel zombies

Cates is a Fan Of Classic Thor and Classic Thor Powerlevels...
If you take Silver age Odin and Combine his Power with Thor of that era and the Power Cosmic!
you'll easily understand how it was done...
Anthony Romero nah, even then Thor shouldn’t be able to stand up to someone like Galactus especially a amped galactus.
@@sruiz310 right
@@sruiz310 nah what?
In their very first encounter Thor made him run for his life by hitting him with the Godblast!
As I said Cates is a fan of Thor's classic power set! If you add the classic power of Odin thus should be a no brainer unless you are ignorant to those past stories!
Maybe do your research so it would make more sense
Anthony Romero if you’re referring to Thor #161 than you’re mistaken. Galactus was already fighting Ego the living planet and when Galactus was gaining the edge, Thor stepped in to help Ego. When Thor alone proved to be no match against Galactus, a weapon was made to channel the power from Ego through Mjolnir. It was a actually a combined effort from Thor and Ego to defeat Galactus.
The Black Winter request was actually pretty reasonable
Writers don't understand that beating Galactus just make that story less than more, also isn't that start of the end of univerese.
Great ending to the black winter storylineand I believe that this is the most powerful version of Thor
I don't think the black winter is dead, Thor took it under his control just to see how he dies and I think the story arc is gonna be very interesting.
Or may be The Black Winter is playing with Thor's mind.
Wow. Thor. This video ...
I am going to start from the beginning of Thor's appearance in comics.
HE LIVES!!!!! ALL HAIL FERNANDO'S RETURN!!!
Ok I’m seeing the retcon of his origin, so I suppose that also means that he and Franklin Richards never imprisioned Abraxas? So no coming of Abraxas?
Holy..........shiettt..Thor is OP af! My heart screaming with joy. This is the thor we deserve
It may the end of multiverse.. therefore galactus is dead.

Hey by the way in an earlier comic of the Immortal Hulk it was stated that Hulk kills Galactus in the future, so did Donny Cates not see that or?
For me Thanos is one of the best character ever made he inspired me in real life
I can easely put it at the side of goku, superman and batman in therm of mythical
Even if superman and goku dont really inspire me maybe a bit batman
But thanos is the example of whatever how you was made however you are different your only limit is you
You can get what you want if you really go for it. There is no villain or heroes no love no hate just goals💯
it's a good attitude to live by but do not confuse comic stories with real life. the old saying that "you can do whatever you want, if you try hard enough, the limit is only yourself" is just for comics and movies.all humans have some limitations they cannot overcome no matter what, it's just not possible. i'd say just be the best you can, at the things you are good at. it's important to have realistic goals, not fantasies.
also, goku, superman and batman are ok, but you really should think a bit more about being inspired by a crazy genocidal simp.

This was truly chilling. The end of Thor is revealed. But surely Donny Cates won’t let this happen? He won’t let the thunder king fall to an upstart demigod like so many others?!
On another note, Galactus is more powerful than ever. Does this mean he is more powerful than when he was in the Dr Strange comics when he went on a magic absorbing spree?

... Being the most powerful he can be
I agree he was really powerful at a point and it really makes me happy.
The entire dc universe? What do you mean?
Wait Thor death is basically Thanos win comics.
