Good work! I still think it's so cool that you put this together after it had been reduced to parts! When you said "bringing it to spring", did you mean Carlisle? I'd like to see it! I bought my ticket and booked my lodging, can't wait . Being a Californian, I've wanted to hit Carlisle and Hershey since I was a teenager in the late seventies. I guess like Eastern guys want to hit Pomona, Turlock, and the GNRS
Not everybody has number drills, but the correct tap drill size is 21. Why didn't you just use the whole Y block generator? I think we all like seeing Mike and Steve doing videos.
@@IronTrapGarage I was wondering the same thing as kodak_jack. Mike didn't install the generator on the intake in the middle of the engine, it's hung out on the drivers side over the head.
Mike just a suggestion, Next time you have a new peice of Lami before you install it, Get some Clear fingernail polish & paint the edges to protect from any moisture from working its way between the glass & the lamination! burrp!
Don't understand why folks over 6' talk seem to just HAVE to chop the crap out of every top and windshield, then have to duck and hunch to get in them.
I enjoy seeing the little steps needed to maintain very old cars. Lots of channels post the big dramatic stuff; only ITG shows the nitty gritty work.
Its crazy to think this car started as a pile of parts in some barn to what it is now, lots of great progress 👏
So glad to see this car come to life! That born again look gets the fire burning for me. This is a fun build.
Glad your getting closer the little stuff is always a sort of a pain to get it all done
As Matt would say Small Victories. Getting closer to driving. Good stuff.😊
Good to see you working on your project.

A hello from Michigan, glad to see you are getting the pile of parts together again. Good luck, and see you in the spring. Thanks for the video.
Nice to see more progress, the car has come a long way from that initial pile of parts.
Can't wait for it to warm up so you can get more done and looking forward to seeing more done on your car , stay warm God Bless 👍
Nice work. Every little bit helps! That's where I'm at during these cold weather months.
The ITG trio doing their thing keeping old hot rods alive! Awesome! 👍👍
Little by little Mike 👍
Get her done Mike!!!!
🥃🍺🥃🍺🥃🍺
Can't wait to see this car with a nice paint job on it!
You've heard this from me before. "One bolt at a time". Spring is coming. You'll be cruisin' soon!
Excellent walk thru of the generator conversion! You sir are gonna have a great spring! Go Iron Trap, keep moving forward!

Because it doesn’t bolt up to a flathead intake.

@@r1lark The front carb is in the way. Some manifolds don't set the carbs back as far as others do.

Keep at it man .
Definitely been an awesome build to follow, can’t wait to see you ripping it around. It’s come a long way! Well done!!
Mike, your cab is coming along nicely. I am enjoying watching this car come along. Great project.
Love the generator swap trick!
Just need the Napa part number❤
Looking forward to seeing you go cruising in it! Good job Mike!
I always liked this little car ,glad to see your moving forward. Thanks
GOOD JOB MIKE
Perfect. Thanks.
love that generator rebuilding music!
Nice progress, Mike.
Good work Mike!
Nice work Mike
Going to be cool when done 👍👍
Looking forward to seeing it on the road Mike. But really waiting to see it in one color, even primer. LOL
Your car looks pretty crummy now, Mike, but it will be a beauty by the time you are finished. Keep plugging away!
Now Steve needs a project too.
Great car Mike.
Dude!!! Nice conversation!! Some day your " core" will come back and bit you in the as"':!!! Lol!! ✌️
How hard will it be this spring and summer to find time to make shop videos when you guys will have those very cool rides to drive?!
One step closer to the road will the roadster or the panel wagon get finished first?
WTG Mike.
There is a fair amount of sound transfer from down stairs. Good video though.
If I had to guess that was Matt sanding bondo off the Merc from last week.
Don't understand why folks over 6' talk seem to just HAVE to chop the crap out of every top and windshield, then have to duck and hunch to get in them.
Are you going to run front splash aprons and a hood? Lookin good Mike!
Mike, it looks like to fuel hose from the pump to the secondary carb. is pretty badly kinked.
Chip away. Use a portable heater, oil or ceramic for localized heating on cold days working upstsirs. Drivable spring/summer.
