As an experiment use an air compressor, hair dryer or the rear of a vacuum cleaner. Also can you reverse the horn to be used as a microphone?

. . . you're only really testing the power efficiency at the 60 dB point since you're using the same air input. It would be better to compare power efficiency across a range of inputs to characterize the variable performance of each horn.
Thought changing the horn shape would have more impact on the amplification factor, but the "Bigger better" test was disappointing... I think you are indeed right, varying the air flow input and pressure should be way more effective! Thanks for your input
