Really cool video and nice review! More than anything, the sculptures were what got my eye. I'll wait and see if I get into this (Thor and all), but they certainly look really cool! Thanks, sir, for another great video!
Yeah, I was also sad to see that Dracula isn't in it. Dunno if there are some legal issues, if they just don't wan't him confused with the Marvel Dracula. Or if they're, for whatever reason, just saving him for an eventual second set.
My guess is that Universal has the right to licence Dracula, which them trying to may a cinematic universe and all. The only reason the Amazing Spider-Man set had one in it is because Marvel used to publish Tomb of Dracula, making his a Marvel character from the comics. But notice how quickly the company changed focus to their other Dracula character?
My nephew and I have been playing Heroclix. We are gradually learning the rules. Your videos help out a lot(also just fun to watch a set being open). I was wondering if you could do a video about improved movement. I have read the rules over and over but there are many questions that arise. Thanks!!!
It's most certainly a possibility... I plan to talk every aspect of Heroclix on this channel and I'll try to address Improved movement and Improved targeting at some point (especially since a change has been recently made to targeting through blocking that destroys blocking as you do). Thanks for the suggestion. It might take a little while before I get to that video though... There's a long list of requests ;o). Thanks for watching!
Wow! Two chase figures out of 5 foil-boosters + a rare? That was some luck... and yes, that would help a lot in winning a tournament ;o). Congratulations!
Yeah... Completing the TMNT sets was hard. I never did. What I like about this Undead set, is that buying the occasional booster is great... I want duplicates of almost every figure.
Any thoughts for a good transport? I'd love a zombie horde, but they need a bit of a speed boost. The common Green Lantern from elseworlds would be my first pick, since he can carry up to 8 characters, but he also would break the monster theme.
Any character with the Green Lantern Corps team ability is a very good choice. I can't think of a Modern Monster that can carry several characters. Don't forget that if you so choose, the Zombies' move actions don't count towards your action total. There are several other characters that can carry 2 or 4 characters, but they will break theme. Renet Tilley from TMNT2 comes to mind (her Prob will be useful).
I had thought of Renet, perhaps I will do a combination of the two, with 190 points worth zombies left over to work with. Thanks for the reply and the great videos!
A Ghostbusters Gravity Feed could be a lot of fun! Not sure about Scooby Doo, though (no true powers to speak of, it's always some guy in a ghost costume, no? ;o).
Hello sorry to ask again ... but please if a character that is attacking and has a adjacent friendly character does the attacking character get a plus 1 on his her attack value simply bc he she has the same theme team???
Nope... There is no such modifier for having a friendly character adjacent. The closest there is to that is Empower/Enhancement and those powers give a +1 to damage to friendly adjacent character when it makes a close (Empower) or range (Enhancement) attack.
Yes, the newly spawned demons can be given a costed action on the turn they arrive on the map. You are correct; there is no rule that says otherwise. It's a POWER action for Belphegor, but each Demon arrives on the map with 0 tokens and their "spawning" didn't give them a token, so they're good to go!
Those ghosts might make it to competitive play, can tie up and hinder pieces while you get in position, kinda wish they made the points a little higher with better stats so you dont time out playing a 400 point game with like 12 figs, i get the "overrun" strategy but not fun when every game goes to time.
Fair point. The top 3 ghost (Abe, Jacob and Death) have a combined point cost of 240. Ghosts are 30, Grim Reapers are 60... With what I got from my box, a 400 point Ghost Realm team would have 6 or 7 figs; manageable. Should be fun!
I used to think I couldn't paint either, and the first 20 or 30 figures proved that point, but some of my latest ones turned out awesome. Like any skill, keep at it, you will get better.
If you take a look at the different Gravity Feed unboxings on this channel and others, the one chase per case seems to be the norm. But I have heard of "chaseless" Gravity Feeds in the past. Just to be clear, there's nothing on the box that says a chase is guaranteed. It's like an unwritten rule.
These figures are designed like all the other Modern Heroclix figures... If you've found a way to use Heroclix figures in your HorrorClix games, then yes. If you're looking for new figures that follow HorrorClix rules and design, then no. Hope that helps.
Lol... Maybe in a future set? One Undead Gravity Feed is clearly not enough! I say, go full Turtles on this concept (there's a fourth GF of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming... there's room for lots of Undead IMHO ;o).
Every once in a while, there's a set like this one; not related to any Comics or Cartoon franchise. It's fun to have a change from the more traditional Super Heroes, wouldn't you agree?
I really wish wizkids would put indie clix into modern. I really like a lot of indie clix, but it bums me out knowing that they're not takin seriously. Wizkids if your reading this make indie clix modern please.
Great unboxing!! It looks to get the Whole set with each Gravity Feedbox so far as to what Ive seen and the Horde Teams are going to be super Fun!!
I'm guessing that if you get a case of these, you would probably have both chase figures... A lot of dupes, but you need them for hordes, right?
The Tabletop Teacher asboslotly all these figures get bonus while on the same generic theme together I caint wait to play with some of these
Really cool video and nice review! More than anything, the sculptures were what got my eye. I'll wait and see if I get into this (Thor and all), but they certainly look really cool! Thanks, sir, for another great video!
Thank you very much, Francisco. It is a fantastic set, indeed... Competing with the Mighty Thor is not easy. Good luck with all your pulls!
I was going to skip this set, but after this I will for sure be getting some of these.
Glad I could help make an informed decision ;o)!
Another great unboxing this is a fun set
Thanks and I agree!
The Werewolf scultures are Beautiful!! I want a team of werewolfs and a team of skeletons :D
Aren't they gorgeous? I just have to try a ghost team with Abe, though ;o).
It's a great set I agree. I'm gonna have so much fun with it. I wish Dracula was in it but I can't complain, I got werewolves after all!
Yeah, I was also sad to see that Dracula isn't in it. Dunno if there are some legal issues, if they just don't wan't him confused with the Marvel Dracula. Or if they're, for whatever reason, just saving him for an eventual second set.

What is irritating is that he was on the box! Grumble.....
isn't dracula public domain? anyone can use him in any format. i might be wrong though.
I got stuck with a piece with a Werewolf dial, but a Demon sculpt and card.
That's why I only buy from secondary market now. Wizkids crappy quality control and useless replacement program.

The Tabletop Teacher That is 100% okay. Thanks for addressing my comment.
I had a tournament and I had 5 packs for undead and I pulled 2 Frankenstein's monster chase and 2 ghost 1 werewolf alpha I won the tournament...
Wow! Two chase figures out of 5 foil-boosters + a rare? That was some luck... and yes, that would help a lot in winning a tournament ;o). Congratulations!
Yeah the common/rare/chase distribution is very satisfying, and I only wish they would have done the same with TMNT sets.
Yeah... Completing the TMNT sets was hard. I never did. What I like about this Undead set, is that buying the occasional booster is great... I want duplicates of almost every figure.

Another quality unboxing video.
Thank you very much, MCF!
When they first announced this i was super stocked, I really wanted death, but after seing his dial, the ghosts appear more my play style.
I'm going to have a lot of fun with that Death figure... On a Ghost Realm team with Ghost of Abraham Lincoln, of course.
Keep Death away from outwiters.
Wise advice.
The Tabletop Teacher. One would say they cheated death....lol
As awlays, fantastic review!
Thank you very much! Thanks for watching and commenting.
After seeing these, any chance they might make a ghostbusters set, or better yet, SCOOBY DOO?!?
A Ghostbusters Gravity Feed could be a lot of fun! Not sure about Scooby Doo, though (no true powers to speak of, it's always some guy in a ghost costume, no? ;o).
@@TheTabletopTeacher Zombie Island: Hold my beer.
Love this set!
Who wouldn't, right?
I like this set a lot
As do I! Lots of interesting teams to build.
Do you think these would be at all competitive with modern Clix or have they been power creeped out of relevance?
Hello sorry to ask again ... but please if a character that is attacking and has a adjacent friendly character does the attacking character get a plus 1 on his her attack value simply bc he she has the same theme team???
Nope... There is no such modifier for having a friendly character adjacent. The closest there is to that is Empower/Enhancement and those powers give a +1 to damage to friendly adjacent character when it makes a close (Empower) or range (Enhancement) attack.
Quick question with Belphegor, its not specified on the new rules, but can the demons he generates be given an action that same turn?
Yes, the newly spawned demons can be given a costed action on the turn they arrive on the map. You are correct; there is no rule that says otherwise. It's a POWER action for Belphegor, but each Demon arrives on the map with 0 tokens and their "spawning" didn't give them a token, so they're good to go!
Thanks! Belphegor is such a dangerous piece!
Can the trail of the Grim reaper and Death trigger at he same time? If you are playing with both of them.
They trigger at the same time. However you can not resolve them at the same time. You must resolve one before beginning to resolve the next.
Those ghosts might make it to competitive play, can tie up and hinder pieces while you get in position, kinda wish they made the points a little higher with better stats so you dont time out playing a 400 point game with like 12 figs, i get the "overrun" strategy but not fun when every game goes to time.

Can't wait to repaint Belphegor a nice Electric Blue, as the current Chopped Liver color is horrible.
Why not? I don't have that talent. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I used to think I couldn't paint either, and the first 20 or 30 figures proved that point, but some of my latest ones turned out awesome. Like any skill, keep at it, you will get better.
Can you recommend an online heroclix dealer (Canadian or ships to Canada)?
I'm not sure mentioning it in the comments would respect the UA-cam EULA... Please send me an email (see "About" page). Thanks for watching.
These guys would be great for D&D (though some of them would need a new paintjob)
I'm assuming you can only get 1 chase in a box?
If you take a look at the different Gravity Feed unboxings on this channel and others, the one chase per case seems to be the norm. But I have heard of "chaseless" Gravity Feeds in the past. Just to be clear, there's nothing on the box that says a chase is guaranteed. It's like an unwritten rule.
Are those new models playable with old horrorclix models?
These figures are designed like all the other Modern Heroclix figures... If you've found a way to use Heroclix figures in your HorrorClix games, then yes. If you're looking for new figures that follow HorrorClix rules and design, then no. Hope that helps.
Yes, thank you
I'm loving it, TT
Wonderful!
Nice!
Zombie Abraham Lincoln? Blasphemy! No vampire hunter Abe Lincoln? :-P
Lol... Maybe in a future set? One Undead Gravity Feed is clearly not enough! I say, go full Turtles on this concept (there's a fourth GF of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming... there's room for lots of Undead IMHO ;o).
Saludos amigos
You the man
Thank you very much!
This set seems like it came out of nowhere
Every once in a while, there's a set like this one; not related to any Comics or Cartoon franchise. It's fun to have a change from the more traditional Super Heroes, wouldn't you agree?
I loved the LotR clix! And I'm still pissed that they canceled the LotR Superboosters!
That would have been awesome, indeed.
I really wish wizkids would put indie clix into modern. I really like a lot of indie clix, but it bums me out knowing that they're not takin seriously. Wizkids if your reading this make indie clix modern please.
The Undead set is modern age legal.
oh really? Dang I've been out of this game for way to long. What about Teenage mutant ninja turtles? Are they modern also?
Yes. TMNT is also modern age legal.

You can always count on Johan... An extremely well informed player!
Thanks Johan.
that! ' EARTH SHATERINGFULL ' always make me laught!
Glad it does! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Super lazy sculps/figures. All they did was recolor most of them. Horroclix was amazing by comparison.
