You're catching my favorite fish Perch. I'm jealous!!!
I went to PP today to catch some crabs but it was close. The gate broke so they put a barrier at the gate.
I tasted it a little bit, meat sure was tasty delish 😋 hope I can catch some more before the season ends

Nice catch. That’s a good place to fish. Been there many times and it’s a nice walk. Caught many fish there. Sometimes the halibut will come in at high tide and King Fish

Wow! Those are very big surf perch. They may have won the just held Sand Crab Classic surf perch tourney at Santa Cruz.
Last week 300 fisherman in Santa Cruz Sand Crab Classic; the biggest surf perch 15.5 inches!!
I love catching something the first time at a new spot. Congrats. I have wanted to check out that pier before but that walk seems way too long for me!
I got lost this morning and almost walk to the pier and it’s a mile walk, till I saw the workers drove by decided to ask them how to get to the beach
I'm fishing at Hercules now. No bite yet, but the party to my left kept on pulling in shaker strippers
I bet their tassles were flying! 😀

I didn’t think red tail were that far in the bay
That’s what I heard from some fishermen,but it’s here in the Bay
few month ago i got a 6lb striper during incoming tide on the fishing pier.
What rig setup did you guys use?
