I get the feeling that the reason there was a lot of flashbacks in Gavin's film is because of the 90s Animated Series as it seems like he's a massive fan of it as well as the comic books. In most fans' eyes, the 90s show and Spectacular Spider-Man are the most faithful to the source material. In this film, the composers incorporate the themes from the 60s and the 90s shows as well as a snippit of Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes during the scene with Tim but it's most the 90s cartoon that he heavily draws callbacks to. In that show, they did the EXACT same thing with flashbacks in a lot of the episodes when dumping exposition on certain villains and other Marvel heroes. You always tended to get a quick recap of their origin stories whenever they appeared on screen. Sometimes they got repetative because the producers probably thought that most kids were not gonna be able watch EVERY episode every week. But with Lotus, it gets more annoying as it is a feature length film and not a television series, so in that regard it really doesn’t work and slows the film down to a crawl.
I thought it was cool. May not have been a lot of action scenes in it, but that was the idea. Not based on a lot of fighting, but telling a story based on the comics. And struggling to keep going and the emotions Peter Parker carries not just as a person, but as Spider-Man too
Just Finished Watching It. I don’t really care about the whole bad things that happened. But watching this reminds me of why he’s my hero. And that kid with all the posters the newspapers the comics scrapbook….I was that kid Spider-Man Is And Forever will still be my very first hero. 🕷️🕸️❤️💙
Disappointed about your Batman outfit 😂 but seriously I liked this movie. As a huge Spider-Man fan I always saw him as the most serious and relatable comic book character. Worked for me. Way better than the garbage Disney and DC are making these days.
I wish we can have nice things without the people being pieces of shit behind the scenes This was an okay spiderman but will forever be known as "That Racist" Spiderman Movie.. Luckily other fan films are out there and hope there is more to come from genuine peeps.
Akasan…I love you brother 😂 but I cannot sit here and watch all 2 hours of this shit lmaoooo. What I saw (about an hour and 12 minutes) was decent. I’ll give it that. I had to give you my view though 😂 definitely not adding to the masses who watched after all that went down. Absolutely appreciated your reaction though! Per usual 🙏🏽
why can't people enjoy nice things but this is why there's a saying. We can't have nice things we will just ruin it later on. that's why we don't have super powers
1:25:35 I WAS DYING LAUGHING! “SpiderMan? Are you crying again?” LOL

Spectacular is an Abomination. And this isn't pulling from any show. It's actually going to the source material as it should
RCU gonna be more profitable than MCU & DCEU combined ‼️
That’s assuming there are more racists than people who like professionally made movies 😂😂😂😂 jk

I just love how there is supposed to be a sad scene and the chat is like what is this bullshit were watching? 😂
I swear people complain to much the movie is about loss and learning to get past it at least that’s what I took from it and I didn’t complain once
He's gonna team up with Solar Superman and Stormfront to form THE KLANVENGERS.
Hardy har har
Like that the director dived into emotions but movie could’ve used a bit more action rather than so many flashbacks
Lmfao ahhhh shit 😂 here we go! Hahaha
You gonna give us your review of Blue Beetle Aka??
I don’t think it’s even coming out in Japan.
@@Akasan wtf?? No wonder it flopped hard. Gotta watch it pirated 😆
