And YES MEN SHOULD ALSO TAKE A STAND AGAINST THEIR ABUSIVE WIVES/ GIRLFRIENDS. Remember, AN ABUSER AND A VICTIM HAS NO GENDER. Respect your own gender and the opposite gender but if they disrespect you or your loved ones, DON'T HESITATE TO FIGHT BACK.

@@lakhbirkaur4614 Well to a certain extent they do, provided such scrutiny is done in a subtle way but then arranged marriages don't offer much scope on that front. On second thoughts, why blame arranged marriages; there have been instances where girls who thought they had found their perfect man after a long courtship were thoroughly disappointed within a few months of marriage.

This is a very common scenario, no matter how rich the people are, in society . Most women from the lower sections, have this violence as a part of life.
    Society rarely helps.

Good to see a movie made on domestic violence against women and the culprit husband was punished. Now please make the reverse movie where wife mentally tortures husband, beats him and falsely dhamkafy him that she will put a domestic violence case against him while she is only doing it & not him, and how such culprit women are not punished by law and how they are roaming around freely.- These are happening very much now. 50% of domestic violence cases are false cases and such women are not, not, not at punished and those culprit women walk around freely. Hai dhum to make such a (reverse) movie?

We have a coworker who had frequent issues with her husband. She used to annoy me asking same question "do u have a gf"? She knew I didn't had as I'm a nice, shy, introvert guy. I remember one day her husband came to office, and spit on her face. I still don't know the reason, but I started asking her a question. Did anyone spit on your face other than your husband? It annoys her so much. I also use that line for other girls if they ask me annoying question.
Just saying as she looks similar to girl I talked about.
Anyway, be safe. Date nice guy around u who will take better care of u.
