Excellent drummer is been with Paquito for a long time, always keeping that flavor
I can't Believe that, They have played Chopin fantasy improptu. I'm so impressed .-.
Thanks for the heads up.
Paquito D'Rivera, Chucho Valdes and Arturo Sandoval. Three of the greatest jazz musicians!
That pianist looks too young to be Chucho Valdes.
Que nivel Maribel! grandes instrumentistas todos, conciertazo! Brutal el sonidazo de Oscar Stagnaro con las cuerdas DR neon yellow en su Warwick!
These guys get better every year!
5 Fabulous musicians! Unlike others on this page I'm not afraid to mention their names: PAQUITO D'RIVERA-sax & clarinet; DIEGO URCOLA-trumpet & trombone; ALEX BROWN-piano; OSCAR STAGNARO-bass; MARK WALKER-drums
Wow what a sizzling latin jazz sofisticate, Paquito and this whole group of infinitely gifted senior musicians have put on a show of mature musicianship, arrangements, expression, technical dexterity and the evolving of jazz into classical overtures, pure unadulterated American jazz form, thank you Paquito for giving us so much listening pleasure of this incredible form of jazz. Sennen Antonio Dourado Milwaukee Wisconsin India (13 fucktards down thumbed this masterly performance, I do understand that this form of music may not be liked by some or it may not have connected to others, jazz is not an easy form of music to connect it's definitely an acquired taste which may take years of listening to acquire, but this definitely did not deserve a down thumb, just hear the trumpeter freak into the high register and you will know what it takes to get there!!)
Sennen Dourado up
@@curtishollinger3803 Dear Curtis thank you so much for the up, having a huge collection of jazz I just thought I should voice my opinion thanks once again, hear John Coltrane/Pharaoh Sanders. sennendourado@gmail.com
D'Rivera´s delicious sounds and good musical taste always. Thanks for sharing!
Hermosamente ♥️
Oscar Stagnaro. Thats a terrific bass player from Perú. Que orgullo ser latino! Viva latinoamérica unida y sin barreras
So beautiful my heart soars with the 🎶 music!
Paquito D'Rivera es el Bach o Mozart moderno, el mejor y su grupo del más alto nivel !
Tu be continued. Mas completos e importantes de la historia del Jazz. Mis respetos y mi mas profunda Admiracion.
Paquito é genial. Estes músicos são 5 estrelas... só feras!
Paquito is phenomenal. I got to meet Buddy DeFranco, who was probably the greatest clarinet virtuoso in modern times IMHO. But Paquito is right there. His sax work is paralleled.
Chopin Brazilian Style? A- "Xaxado" groove .....B- "Samba gafieira" groove.....C- "Cuba !!!"

Bailinho bom!
Paquito es el músico más representativo de cuba después de Ernesto lecuona. Y después que vengan los otros.
Dear Kennedy Center. Unless I missed it, I don't see a list of the musicians or of the song set, telling the titles and composers of the pieces they played. Could you do provide that for this and for your other concert videos? Thank you.
10 ++
Thaïs os fois .

Chopin's etude 14 . ua-cam.com/video/I6ZSbyiM-Rg/v-deo.html
It's known as fantaisie impromptu... if you're referring to the first piece they play in this video
Missing Michael Orta on piano!
Paquito D'Rivera does not feel any love for the heroic efforts of the Cuban people to resist the domination
and exploitation of the United States-and he certainly doesn't play jazz at a high level of inspiration that commands the respect of those who have devoted their lives to this great form of music.

am here because am freelancing h aha ha ha a ha
Incredible music, pitiful mixing. Imagine getting the best woodwinds guy alivem, an absolute legend, and putting a 421 in front of the clarinet when you could rent a DPA for $50/day. Drums sound paper thin but that is NOT Mark Walker's fault. Bass sounds like trash but I studied from Mr Stagnaro, the Warwick bass and Eden amp sounds NUTS irl. Everything looks and sounds like it was mic'd up by a dude mixing rock bands at a dive bar. Shameful. Sad.
