one of the best dnb tracks of all time it never gets stale
It's good for dialing in a sound system. Super highs, super lows, strong mids 😁
@@michaelenglish839 ^^^^ this! CHemical Brothers "Under the Influence" is my bass tester too.
I was on 4 grams of fungus, and somehow ended up smoking about $50 worth of crack, and I was jacked up and hallucinating at the same time and I was at my cousins house he was heavy into drum and bass, and he was playing this song, and I thought that the guy in the background saying Control was just my imagination that it actually wasn’t in the song, it was a rough night, well it was a rough 36 hours,But when I was about to lose my shit, I heard the guy in the background saying control, and it helped me to keep Control for some reason, so thank you diesel boy, for that track, at that night, at that time, on those concoction of drugs, thank you for helping me keep control
We used to play this CD at work loud on the stereo while sorting packages, like 3 people loved it, the rest were hating our music choices. I saw Dieselboy live a lot around that time, great times, cool dude.
The Invid (sometimes Invids) is either of two distinct fictional, villainous groups: Invid (Robotech), an alien species from the Robotech TV series universe The Invids, a group of pirates from the Star Wars Expanded Universe.
This was THE track that got me interested in DnB. This track still goes hard next to most modern classics. Big ups Dieselboy.
Classic tune. DNB will always remain constant in the world of edm.
My favorite part is when it goes - weeeorrrr weeeorrrr weeeorrrrr weeeorrrr weeeorrrr weeeorrrrr weeeorrrr weeeorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr aaaaaahhhh!
I like the "control control control control control control" part myself
How time flys. I'm now 40 yet remember hearing this track drop in the clubs back in the early naughties!
I'm so glad I found this track again. I first found it on limewire back in 2006. I would play it in my 1989 Toyota supra lol
best song to listen to on the train on the way to your corporate slave job
Good old times coming home alone at 3am after getting stoned with homies during those long dark rainy nights at the city during the week when nobody wanted to work that 2pm to 10pm shift and you were the on doing it
This song sounds as fresh to me as it did when I was a young warthog. I remember playing sonic 3 to this on my CD player. This girl that lived in my neighborhood had older siblings who got us in to DnB and I've loved it and jungle ever since!
Bumped into this gem at the gym on Pandora. Ripped the goddam equipment out of the ground.
Yea, this is definitely a massive tune. I like the original better than any of the remixes
Bought this for $1 at my local record shop I had no idea I had stumbled upon absolute breakbeat bliss
Stilllllllll bumping this in 2022! I saw him at Electric Daisy Carnival way outside of LA back in 1999. Then at Concrete Jungle in Silver Lake when Hive was running it for $5 on Wednesdays. Hehehe Jungle music no gon' die!!!!
Still listening in 2019🔥💪🏾
The People’s Court Theme bongos on the intro :D
"Control" samples Morpheus from the Matrix
I used to frequent “The Limelight” in the 90s during the birth of the NY rave era. However, this came out I believe a few years later than all that. Anyway I forgot what I was trying to say here, I’m 47 years old now, still rave to the grave
hard one, tough one, omg i remembered it, it passed like 12y or so !! damm my curent system cant handle it
the matrix...control meta... the singularity... it's all real
second drop! still mix this in sets when playing out. not many systems that can handle this monster .. friggin epic!
I have it on vinyl, one of the best, ak 1200 throws some bad ass tracks as well, Goldie is not far behind
this is heart pumping!
maybe if we keep preaching what you said people will listen, if they don't listen it doesn't matter anyways. we got to live and experience the whole dnb revolution in the mid-late nineties through late 2000's that's more than a lot of the young dubstep kids can say.
I used to snowboard with this in my headphones back in the day, Colorado.
this is one of favs from Dieselboy, very nice tune
* * * * *
If Heroin sounded like something this is totally what it would sound like.
james prout Only if you nearly overdose...then come to...then take another heavy shot about halfway in...then fade out. Assuming your in control...
Even better to listen to this while high on heroin and slightly drunk. Makes me vibe to the reese bass in this track even more haha. Fucking love it.
Maybe.. then the track would need to slip into oblivion and then nothingness.
This is my favorite jungle song ever.
One of my favorite tracks. When 3:00 min hits thats the best part

It's on Pandora but it's a radio only song so I can't add it to my Mix Playlist .

Funny you ask, because now I got it on vinyl signed. I probably want to hang on to it, but I can send you a pic of the record with signature. I was pretty excited when I got it signed a few months ago at the honey pot in ybor by DB.

I know DnB and dubstep are cousins, but why the dub step sound has become more popular that this I don't get....and DSL is attempting to stay relevant by using more dub step sound but I don't really care for it.
pity about the quality, awesome track thoguh
Jihad
20 years old now. Yet it sounds like it's from 20 years in the future. Blew me away as a kid... still does.
