Hi Lee.. We ran 2x 50 gallon unvented hot water tanks.. 3/4" supplies in and out... Right up to the 3/4" commercial shower mixer valve.. And then 3/4" to the shower head.
Still fine.. a few of the spray nozzles block up from time to time (hard water) but easy to unblock. I used Pex and brass connectors instead of the supplied hoses for better water flow
@@pablou1288 if you have a look through my other videos you'll see how I made the framework to support the head (it weights 30 lbs) to avoid using the supplied 4 x 10" legs and seeing the pipework on top
Is this the "20x40 luxurious panel" on amazon and homary that ships from China, with the two water inputs and hanging legs? If so, how did you plumb it, normal shower water pressure from valve to a "Y" to connect both inputs or did you have to have a plumber to increase supply to it. Curious how much work is needed to make it good and not a trickle, if I can tie it in with a shower head diverted valve and be fine. Thanks
@@derekremington8807 hi Derek.. So sorry i missed your question some how. I used a 3/4" full flow Kholer shower valve with 3/4" supply line both to the valve and then a 3/4" supply to the shower head from the valve. Yes i had 2 inlets on my shower head so just ran a 3/4" tee and then 1/2" off either side to the shower head connections
This is what I bought.. but from memory it was less than $500 www.ebay.com/itm/166002636048?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=1VWaJesCR1-&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=HvvyWWTuTb2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I did a video where I tested how many gallons per min it used. Think it was about 3.5 GPM.. So not bad.. A normal shower head uses 2.5 GPM.. So yes it uses more water, but it didn't triple my water bill etc
Nice job, but it is not a good idea to use close to your windows, it will splash on it and get water damage and destroy the wood windows.. You must protect the wood very hard and use something to protect against water get between the joints..
House was in a historic district.. so swapping out wooden windows for vinyl etc was a no go. So painted them in epoxy primer.. and then 3 coats if exterior paint.. but we moved about 3 months I shot that video so none of it really matters now lol
Lovely! I'm stealing your idea for the lucite panel--brilliant
Well done!
"Where were these trays dried? In a rain forest?" Such a great sketch
Did you have to do any changes to water tank, /boiler etc? Or are they just standard

How’s is it holding up after a couple years? Just bought one off of wayfair.

Awesome. Now, come and do mine. Love a household with Mane-N-Tale products.
is this the only bathroom with a overhead?
Yes.. Only one in that house with a rain head.. All the others have wall mounted wands
Did your water bill go up

Thats one very rough tile job yikes
Just so we’re clear that waaayyyyyyy more than 75 spray holes
I'm only going by what the sales brochure said.. I didn't count them 😜
i want 3 😒
Australian approved? No
No idea I'm afraid.. I know they are not approved in California (too much water flow) but this one was installed in Tennessee.. and was fine
@@properteaproperty yeah they wouldn’t be approved in Australia, we are too strict here lol
