I like how she tried to sing this. She's an amazing singer. But to be honest, I don't think her way of singing suits Bad Apple. If this was a rock version, it would've been better. Her voice would've suited best for a rock version of Bad Apple. But that's just my opinion
Hanatan is as incredible as always, but this song has a big problem. The original one looked for mixing the high pitch with the melody, and the singer actually had a high pitched voice, like if she was a little girl. Because of this, no one is used to a lower pitch of this song. Hanatan doesn't have that ultra girly high pitched voice, so she adds a bit of her style. People, used to the high pitched girl, dislike this song. For me, the problem is the song 100%. The song is not prepared to be covered, and if it's covered, it must be done by a girly high pitched voice. Hanatan is just trying to give this song some power, but sadly it didn't have any potential since the beginning, and it ended up restraining her of showing power because, as I said, 'Bad Apple' never had any power and people doesn't welcome any potential to it. And it sounds 'monotone' because the song is monotone, the only thing is that we don't notice it because of the original song's singer voice.

She can do high pitch and actually very good at it but not as good when having to do a sustained ultra high pitch. Personally, I don't mind that though and I think this song overall sounds great.
