I love that Jeremy Jordan included voice cracks, inhales, and an unstable voice, but not an unstable tone or pitch, and that made Varian seem a lot more real and it fit him really well because he's 14, and he looks so young. His voice just fits his personality so perfectly, and the emotion is reflected really well. I literally live for Varian's little voice cracks and random explanation noises.
It's true. It does take place in Germany, so whatever we get is what we get. I will always like the original English version 1000 times better, though.

After listening to all the other performances, I think it's interesting that Jeremy Jordan chose not to hide his inhales. Of course this was a character choice, but I think it's interesting. Also, clearly all of these actors are professionals (perhaps not in singing but professionals nonetheless), and yet some of them fall much shorter than others. yaay, fr, ukrainian version deserves so much more credit. It's ones of the best varian voices out there, and danish is also one of the good ones compared to others. The VAs just took the job seriously. Also you gotta listen to ukrainian version of let me make you proud, it's Sooooo good and fits varian perfectly
i only just realized how much i love jeremy jordan's voice. no matter what version, after i read the text and saw what you meant, my brain started replacing the voices with the english version
Oh Ukranian hit IMMEDIATELY dang- and Swedish actually had the strength in the second part to fit that shift to rage. Greek 1, I think, did that well too. French 1 on RAIEB- the important part of switching to head voice, I think, was that shift back down, and it was pretty smooth! Solid! And then we have FREAKING JEREMY who is just. He's JEREMY-
yess, finally someone mentioned how great the ukrainian dub is for varian. My fav is let me make you proud, the ukrainian voice firs him sooo well there, and the singing is just perfect
For number 36, I honestly started crying because I’m Jewish, so I was just embarrassed that I can’t speak Hebrew, seriously, all I can speak is the prayer for when we light candles for Hanukkah
It was about time this masterpiece showed up, but seriously how can your first ranking be _THAT_ good? You're a real magi- _alchemist!*_ Perfect & sophisticated commentary and ... yäs, just repeating myself 😂 Now about your opinion ... boy I disagree so much, but that's what made watching this 100× more enjoyable! My main disagreements would be divided in 2 categories (obviously XD) LOWER: Croatian (he has potential but he's just atrocious here, by far the worst along with the Indian ones), Italian 1 (a real miscast, these songs are an atmosphere above his comfort line & the way I see it, his voice isn't that beautiful either), Swedish (he kinda irritates me, but I know he's technically a great cast) & Danish 2 (I love him but I don't think he's top 3 material). HIGHER: Malay (he's not perfect but I think he's rather lovely overall, and way better than the 2nd voice IMO), Bulgarian 1 (YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM) & Norwegian (I'm glad you appreciate him more now, but it's still not enough 😌) Your top 14 is a knockout though, and no one can _ever_ take Jeremy's 1st place ❤ *MORE RANKINGS PLEASE* 🥺
Naww thanks :3 I see, we have a few disagreements here :p I guess I get ur points, but disagree XD And about Danish 2: He's perfect, period :) Yep my top 14 is good, ofc they are 😌 Mäybe someday xD
By The way... I did a mistake when i Wrote the last name of Carlo ( the oficial Spanish Latin American voice of Varian ) it's Velázquez not Vázquez
Arabic literal translation hit me so hard as a native Arabian. The voice is just SO on spot. "You'll be proud of me. I'll free you and work hard. Don't you worry I'll find a way, always trust me. Ugh, I’m cringing of the idea of me doing that 2 years ago. I think that might of been mine, I can’t fathom anyone else wanting to make a fandub in Quechua. Sounds like a me thing, I never got to it, but it might sound fun. The Peruvian/Bolivian Disney Directors would never release anything in a another language besides Español. -Note: the guy does seem to speak (at least somewhat) Aymara and/or Quechua, might be his idea, lol
Amazing video. Really well put together. However, You did miss a few Varian voices. For Indonesian, you used the third voice (Adrian W.). There was two different singers for Let Me Make You Proud (M. Sofyan) and Ready As I’ll Ever Be (Byas M.) Also, for Dutch, Roben Mitchell sings for Varian in Let Me Make You Proud and Nothing Left to Lose, except for Ready As I’ll Ever Be, which is sung by Joey Schalker
Thanks! Bruh DC Indonesia doesn't seem to be a fan of a constant cast... The first 2 singers sound pretty similar to me tho xD Oh wow, weird that I've never noticed that since I'm pretty familiar with the Dutch voices. But yeah I checked the soundtrack, he's really credited for RAIEB. I've added the not included singers in the description now, thanks for telling me!

Also im soooo happy the danish one got second place! (im danish) hearing the song in my native language feels so weird though lmao
yaay, fr, ukrainian version deserves so much more credit.
I've never related to someone's Tangled ranking so well!!!
I think the English and Polish versions are the best! Thanks for the rating!
I'm from the Philippines, and in all honesty, I didn't know there is a Tagalog dub of tangled the series
Ukrainian sounds EPIC. Just EPIC. (8:17)
Thanks so much for the 6th place :D The winner was kinda expected (kinda like Auli'i Cravalho among Moanas) because he's so amazing
You're welcome ;)
That's true, no one can top Jeremy or Auli'i :D
@@tim8osoup Well, it sometimes happens, but you expect them in the high top each time you see a new ranking ;)
Varian is varian the way he is
This is a really well made video! And showing off the talents of these hardworking voice actors is so awesome ❤
He's JEREMY-
1. English 2. Ukrainian 3. Arabic 4.Greek
yess, finally someone mentioned how great the ukrainian dub is for varian. My fav is let me make you proud, the ukrainian voice firs him sooo well there, and the singing is just perfect
Your ranking is awesome! Now i'm ashamed of my own language XDXD (Latin Spanish) the rest of the versions are so cool and i agree with you❤
Thanks!
@@tim8osoup ❤❤❤
9:16 I’ll go my way go my way go my wayyyy 😩
The second singing voice for Varian is sung by Nikita Volkov in the song there is nothing to lose by the way hello from Russia
Thank you!
Cooles Ranking. Das es so viele Varians gibt…😮
For number 36, I honestly started crying because I’m Jewish, so I was just embarrassed that I can’t speak Hebrew, seriously, all I can speak is the prayer for when we light candles for Hanukkah
Das stimmt ich finde sie tool
Weißt du noch wer ich bin
fun fact : Raul Stănulescu also did the singing voice of gumball and i think also darwin at some songs
Fun fact: Jeremy Jordan is Polish VA's favourite Broadway actor (very understandable).
I think it's fun to watch this because it's all unfamiliar languages I don't really understand, and then BAM there's my language..😅
I’m just proud about knowing what’s the Hungarian version is singing 😂 Even though I come from that country
It was about time this masterpiece showed up, but seriously how can your first ranking be _THAT_ good? You're a real magi- _alchemist!*_ Perfect & sophisticated commentary and ... yäs, just repeating myself 😂
Now about your opinion ... boy I disagree so much, but that's what made watching this 100× more enjoyable! My main disagreements would be divided in 2 categories (obviously XD)
LOWER: Croatian (he has potential but he's just atrocious here, by far the worst along with the Indian ones), Italian 1 (a real miscast, these songs are an atmosphere above his comfort line & the way I see it, his voice isn't that beautiful either), Swedish (he kinda irritates me, but I know he's technically a great cast) & Danish 2 (I love him but I don't think he's top 3 material).
HIGHER: Malay (he's not perfect but I think he's rather lovely overall, and way better than the 2nd voice IMO), Bulgarian 1 (YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM) & Norwegian (I'm glad you appreciate him more now, but it's still not enough 😌)
Your top 14 is a knockout though, and no one can _ever_ take Jeremy's 1st place ❤
*MORE RANKINGS PLEASE* 🥺
Naww thanks :3
I see, we have a few disagreements here :p
I guess I get ur points, but disagree XD
And about Danish 2: He's perfect, period :)
Yep my top 14 is good, ofc they are 😌
Mäybe someday xD
Jeremy Jordan is King!!
3:07 the description had me laughing with the bit bout Olaf and at 4:07 when they said the singer was drunk 🤣
4:20 mi Idioma, That's My language
16:10 i can also Speak english and i like Jeremy Jordan for The Songs but i Speak Spanish and for The Speaching part i like Carlo Velázquez
He visto algunos episodios en español latinoamericano :)
@@tim8osoup O.M.G...
O.M.G i Did That you Answer me and Thank you that some Times you Heard some episodes in Latinamerican Spanish
By The way... I did a mistake when i Wrote the last name of Carlo ( the oficial Spanish Latin American voice of Varian ) it's Velázquez not Vázquez
Thank you that you Understood
In my country they didn't sing they just read the dialogues 😐😐😐 but fortunately i always watch in English
Arabic literal translation hit me so hard as a native Arabian. The voice is just SO on spot.
"You'll be proud of me. I'll free you and work hard. Don't you worry I'll find a way, always trust me. And I swear to my God. I won't fear the most dangerous things. And if a human stands in my path, he will regret."
Okay, I felt like I watched the scene for the first time where did you get this
9:40 Woah I am Korean and did not expected 17th place to be Korean cuz I actually really disliked TTS Korean version ost...
Oh and I love your work thank you for making this vid
Really? I think the Korean dub is pretty good, especially Cassandra!
Thank you :)
Tool das du wieder
video machst😃😄
Good job! Thanks for the 7th place! 😇
Thanks & You're welcome :)
Great format!
Number 20 the Ukrainian singer was my favorite personally
Oh no.... The Quechua version of LMMYP is about to come out in a month! Hope you can give your opinion about it when it releases.
Oh, I'm definitely going to listen to it! Is it an official dub or a fandub tho? Like where is it going to be published and who made it?
Ugh, I’m cringing of the idea of me doing that 2 years ago. I think that might of been mine, I can’t fathom anyone else wanting to make a fandub in Quechua. Sounds like a me thing, I never got to it, but it might sound fun. The Peruvian/Bolivian Disney Directors would never release anything in a another language besides Español.
-Note: the guy does seem to speak (at least somewhat) Aymara and/or Quechua, might be his idea, lol
@@marvinamartian Why don't you do it now? It may be cool.
@@mathiasbecerra6946 eh sure why not
THE English version is best!
Jeremy troppo cute come virian eppoi amo anche i dop di virian in italiano cioè stuoendi😍
I saw 1st place comming it was kinda obvious but I do share thst opinion
Jeremy Jordan being the og makes him #1
our danish voice 2 is number two! Ive never been so happy
Amazing video. Really well put together.
However, You did miss a few Varian voices.
For Indonesian, you used the third voice (Adrian W.). There was two different singers for Let Me Make You Proud (M. Sofyan) and Ready As I’ll Ever Be (Byas M.)
Also, for Dutch, Roben Mitchell sings for Varian in Let Me Make You Proud and Nothing Left to Lose, except for Ready As I’ll Ever Be, which is sung by Joey Schalker
Thanks!
Bruh DC Indonesia doesn't seem to be a fan of a constant cast... The first 2 singers sound pretty similar to me tho xD
Oh wow, weird that I've never noticed that since I'm pretty familiar with the Dutch voices. But yeah I checked the soundtrack, he's really credited for RAIEB.
I've added the not included singers in the description now, thanks for telling me!
@@tim8osoup Do you need the rest of the names for the singers. I have Hindi and Bulgarian
Yeah, it'd be great if you'd tell me :)
@@tim8osoup Bulgarian 1 is Denko Prodanov
Hindi is Rohan Sequeira
Ukrainian singer is not known (Oleksandr Solodkiy confirmed he only did the dialogue)
Thai singer is correct.
@@tim8osoup Also, according to Deniz Sujana, who sang as Rapunzel, she said this:
Cassandra is Ezgi Arslan
I’m not sure about Varian, but it can be Dünya Kızılçay or Gürkan Kömürcü
So Turkish Varian’s singer is either Dünya Kızılçay or Gürkan Kömürcü
Your analysis is so cool! Eh, I listened to russian version of NLTL yesterday and felt like crying... Varian's VA in russian dub is GREAT, but Varian's songs are felt spoiled...
YESSS probably I love russian dub even more than english, but the russian singer is terrible... (I'm russian)
(Yes yes yes, Vanya's voice timbre suits Varian very well, it's so high and sounds so young. The problem here is probably that his parts are quite hard to sing, and since it's combined with the singers' lack of professionalism... we got what we got...)
16:06 the Maria Lucia Rosenberg of Varian voices
15:12 I think I’m a little obsessed with this one
7:26 and this one, I’m obsessed with French
Nothing less than perfection are your rankings. I know technically it’s subjective since it’s an opinion based video. But I agree with you on EVERY single one. Top 3 rankings were also my top 3.
And nobody can outdo Jeremy Jordan although several did come close.
I'm so glad you liked the Hungarian version overall! Of course it's not perfect, but I think Czető Roland, the VA did a great job, especially in dialogue. Still, no one can beat the one and only Jeremy Jordan.
You didnt include the Spanish (from Spain) one. A pity because the voice actor is very talented and has been Olaf in Frozen among other incredible roles.
Spanish is at 6:19 ;)
@@tim8osoup Sorry I was blind lmao, I was just looking for Spanish smt. I actually have valuable info for the video then, it is not that he tries to sound more like a child, the singer said that it was due to an audio convertion that his pitch was lowered. You can look for his comment on Nothing Left to Lose (Español de España) by Lex, there in the comments the voice actor explains it ^^
@@AnimeOpenningEnding Haha don't worry!
I have seen that comment, but he probably just meant the PAL pitch. The clip in my video is in NTSC format though, so it's his normal pitch here.
@@tim8osoup oh I see! I don't know many about these things so I thought it may help (but was wrong lmao), anyway, this was a nice video where I learnt many things and also keeps encouraging me to support Varian, my fav character!!
Awsome !!!
🤩🤩🤩
Personally, I like the English version better. I can understand it easier.🤔
