Great video man! Really enjoyed that journey , definitely had some very similar stories , I think we around the same age as well, 1984 kid here . Yeh it’s so true how sometimes a game , song or movie can have so many memories based around them when they have nothing to do with the actual source itself, remember finding out my Nan passed away as I was watching scrubs , now it always reminds me of that . The most emotional moment is this video was when you switched to fifa haha, same here man I think it was fifa 16 that finally converted me from pro , because pro was just getting worse and worse , in a way fifa was more pro than pro itself and it never really recovered . I still dream of the day that pro becomes fun again. Oh dude, how good is sleeping dogs , I remember reading about that game in gaming magazines and just waiting for it , and it did not disappoint , I had that on my ps3 then got it on the 360, gave the 360 version to my friend to keep and enjoy. Downloaded the enchanted version on pc , and then bought the PS4 and Xbox one versions lol. Once again great video bro!

Really enjoyed that mate. Love hearing these, as it's always different from person to person. Interesting how you stopped gaming for a while, then got back in to it via the PS3. Of all the random games to pick up, God of War and Sleeping Dogs are two belters. It's great when you find a good game from randomly buying something; I've had that a few times. Did that with Fallout 3 and now that's one of my favourite franchises.

Awesome story, for me it was around 1996 with the original playstation that changed my life forever with Crash bandicoot and Ridge racer. I was only very young at that point and my hand eye and motor skills hadn't developed enough to play and I remember how difficult things were to learn. Still on Playstation to this day and currently waiting on my PS5 to arrive.
Quality vid mate. Sonic 1 on the MD was my earliest gaming memory. Seeing it at my grans house and my jaw dropping from the colours and speed of the game also had a Snes too but used to prefer my MD. My mum went on holiday to HK and bought home a stack of about 15 Japanese MD games. Sold them on eBay before the boom in retro gaming and got £60 which I thought was a good deal but one of the games was a Japanese boxed copy of Musha Aleste! Moved onto a Saturn in the 32bit era. Remember playing Sega Rally with my mum and crashing on purpose so she could catch up (only ever time she ever played a computer game with me). Never had a PS1. Then moved onto the Dreamcast. One game sticks out when my parents were arguing, and I never played it since that day. Onto the PS2 and it was Pro Evo all the way. Exactly as you described with the winner stays on and the winners chair lol. Would literally play it from morning til night. Took a break to explore women haha. Then onto the ps3 and online gaming. Fifa 09 was the one that made me switch from Pro Evo. Pro clubs with my mates (we actually smashed the official PS forum team in a random match lol) and the main game… Cod Modern Warfare. Again spent hours and hours playing it. Good times and great (sometimes sad) memories.
