1. When phase 2 is not functional, is there a way to trek from phase 1 to 2 to grab some good views?
2. Even if phase 2 is not achievable by trek, any spots nearby phase 1 where we can find snow in September end? TIA!

1. Yes, you may trek to phase 2.. its a moderate trek but takes few hours to reach at the top.
2. That you may check real time, hopefully you should see at the same spot where i got but again please check before you leave if snow is ur expectation

Hmm tricky question.. every place have its own charm.. sonmarg is beautiful if u go till 0 point, Gulmarg if u go to Phase 2.. and Pahalgam for Aru valley.. so cant really choose one honestly.. but if i have only 1 choice then Gulmarg Phase 2 coz i did not get a chance to see it.. so in my opinion check my complete series on kashmir and decide on ur own

Hi there, i will not suggest coz there is a lot of travelling involved, in cab, on horses for all these places and i think kids at-least above 4 should be fine and will enjoy more. Also for you guys it will be easy then but not now.
No worries..must come..I m now in Kashmir with my 2yrs old son.. We also came here when he was just 6months old..July is the best time I think..It's Summer here..

Can you please tell me if we are planning to stay pahelgaon for just one night how to cover the must visit places in pahelgaon. For example, suppose we are reaching pahelgaon from Srinagar early morning, so we have that day and next day in our hand
