- In this video we explain 3 wire ceiling fan common, start, and running winding with multimeter. We know in ceiling fan their are two winding
1.starting winding or auxiliary winding
2.main winding or running winding
We can identify these winding by measuring resistance
We take resistance in all three terminal
If resistance come high than these terminal or start and run
Than other terminal is common
Now take resistance between common to other two terminal than high resistance will be starting and low resistance running winding

Sir aapka video bahut hi knowledgeable hai. Aap ne bataya k cross-section area jayada hone se resistance kam ho jata hai. Mera ek questions hai k agar same gauge wire (35 swg) se winding karenge to jayada turn inside slot (starting) mein denge ya out side slot (running) mein. Q ki maine pehli martaba 35 swg se 14+14 slot ka winding kiya ( starting- 340 turn, running 360 turn). Magar jab main resistance measure kiya to starting mein kam aur running mein jayada aaya. Main to bahut confuse hogaya k jayada resistance kisme hota hai tab aapka ye video dekha to clear hua k starting ka resistance jayada hota hai. Lekin sir mera question ka answer zaroor dejiye ka number of turn same gauge mei jayada kahan hoga
