- Due to whatever reasons (Pop Culture, Media, Literature, Folk Lore) there are a lot of things people have assumed or confused are in The Bible.
So I am here to set the record straight!
And I know number five is hard to hear... Especially if you've grown up religious. But it's super important to understand that even if your Bible has read "Mansion" in the KJV it actually is talking about a profound concept of dwelling the presence of God... and not an MTV Cribs episode...

On the topic of lucifer/Satan the story as we know it about Satan being lucifer and him rebelling against God and falling from heaven and taking a third of the angels with him isn't in the Bible either. The scriptures used to "back up" this story are very vague and I find myself wondering where this story came from and why it's soooo widely accepted?
Does the idea of castles come from Jesus saying He's going to prepare a place for us, & "In my Father's house are many mansions" ? I'm not sure the scripture reference off the top of my head but could go get it.
I'm curious, what ate you're thoughts on that?
