Thanks! Im sadly going to be selling this car in the summer. In the 4 years I have owned it I only drove it 900 miles. I already pulled the lift off and installed the factory rims with new tires. Someone is going to be very happy with how clean this thing is. Good luck with the 96 and glad to hear you are driving it.

Great video! I have a couple of ‘83 Buick Park Avenues that are starting to have troubles with one side or the other. Not sure if the lenses come apart as nicely as this model though. I really like the soft color of the original lamps when they were working properly. All of the LED solutions I’ve seen until this were just too gaudy and bright.
Yeah I have tried a bunch of stuff to get that original effect but this is the closest I came to it.
Did u ever sell the blue one. Mine stopped on me. And thanks to u I have enough information on this car. It sat up almost a year now I’m ready to get it back going. All I check so far is fuel
Car never did sell last year and im getting ready to pull it out of storage to clean up and sell. Its crazy how little info there is on these cars. They are not desirable and not many people keeping them around on the road. I can honestly say I think I seen maybe 2 driving around in the 4 years I have owned mine.

I mean you could always take it apart and see if the same type of fix would apply to your lights. I dont know much about the park avenue lights though.

Im so lost and intrigued at the same time.
How did you do the resistor’s
I ran a + wire into the light and soldered 2 resistors onto the end of it and ran each of them to a light. Then ran a round wire into the light and split it to each light with another wire. Thats just how I did it.

You just have to Y both the + and - wires to the lights.

@@stonybandz2473 yes. There is going to be one positive wire that you're going to split into two. Then you're going to put a resistor on the end of that wire and then wire off the resistor into the light. So you will have two resistors one for the left light one for the right light. Then you're going to have to split the negative as well and just solder them straight onto the light with no resistor in between

The car I did this on is currently for sale. You could buy it for the Opera lights haha. I will say its worth doing as no cars anymore have opera lights and it makes the car stand out.
