- Watch KSRTC Ambari Utsav Volvo 9600 bus journey from Bangalore to Mangalore. This is the first time that you have a KSRTC Ambari bus running on Bangalore to Mangalore route during the Night time. Bus Fare is around 1,250/-. Now the same bus is running from Bangalore to Kundapur departure from Majestic at 9.45PM every day. Our bus left majestic at 11.15PM arrived next day morning 6.55AM to Mangalore.
These sleeper buses have total 40 berths with USB charging points and luggage rack. Blanket & bedsheet was also provided. We had the KSRTC managers also present at the bus stand. They had come to wish the passengers on this inaugural bus trip. This bus is a 15mts long bus. Compared to Ambari Dream Class, this bus is less powered in order to give better fuel efficiency. Ambari Dream Class has 430 HP, whereas Ambari Utsav is 350 HP. Ambari Dream Class comes with an 11-liter engine whereas Ambari Utsav comes with an 8-liter engine.
The bus crew were very friendly and supportive. The driver Clifford Anna previously used to drive KSRTC Airavat on Mangalore to Mumbai route. Since, there was a shortage of trained drivers, Clifford anna was made to drive the Ambari Utsav bus.

Around 15 - 20 buses were inaugurated from the Vidhan Soudha. The routes these buses are running on as of now are:
Bengaluru - Trivandrum
Bengaluru - Ernakulam
Bangalore - Hyderabad
Bengaluru - Goa
Bangalore - Kundapura
Mangalore - Pune

Chasis: Volvo 15 mts, 350 HP, 8 litre engine.
Total Berths: 40
Fare: 1250/-
Route: Bangalore - Hassan- Sakleshpura - Bantwal-Mangalore
Distance: 370 kms
Journey time: 8 - 9 hrs

Bro i travelled same bus but 2 hour delay he supposed to reach Mangalore 4:30 am but the bus reached at 6:15 ameven there is no traffic and all i left majestic at 10:30
Due to road conditions all the buses will be delayed.

In Indian highways vehicles with low speed use right lane and overtaking is done by vehicles with high speed in left lane 😂 and traffic rules doesn't apply to our south canara drivers
