if it's your first time I'd say try something a bit lighter in the same feel like Eastfarthing or Voodoo Queen. and DND is great if you're not the one doing the game master work. we play through voice chat and DND beyond. com and roll20 . net my suggestion is to to a game store and make some friends or just ask around, a lot more people play than I thought too!
My initial reaction to plum pudding was very disappointing for the hype, but I have some suggestion…it has since become my favorite/top 3. Tips for plum pudding: 1- smoke about as slow as you can. In fact smoke a slow half bowl and then let it rest an hour or so and come back to it. If you smoke too fast it really can lose a lot of it nuance. My new favorite way to smoke it is to do half a bowl on my morning commute and then empty the ash and mostly refill the pipe. Then finish the whole pipe on the way home. The last half bow is AMAZING. 2- I liked if even more after giving it a rest after opening. I shaved it for four or five months after opening and came back to it…I had a lot of new to me tobaccos and I don’t smoke a lot either so it took a while to get back to it.
I wasn't super impressed with plum pudding in the first half of the bowl. The second half, was nice, maybe not my favorite but good. I would like it a lot more if it had stronger flavors, more punch maybe.
