I think exactly the same as you...MM is one of my favourites bands ever and personally i have neveer seen epic performances like MM's in any other band... And i love the way it feels Közi totally loves this song, btw Hakai no Hate is a Közi's song..
if you listen at 1:20 of this song and 1:40 of funeral in carpathia by cradle of filth you'll find some similarities, i can't be the only one to notice, im not crazy
Actually no it was not intentional, közi him self said in a interview he went trough his anklhe at this conert and it was actually bruised aswell but as a good artist he went trough regardless rather it hurted or not.

@nachtatix Oh it's live. For one the guitars and drums sound totally different than the album version. Even Klaha. In the beginning, the guitars are strum twice. And then tree times. I think the drums and bass are confusing you.

I think he was limited to what he could do in Malice Mizer vocalwise as the music and everything was done before he joined. But I agree for a classically trained singer he does lack abit but I've not heard his solo stuff to know what he does with that.

I like this band a lot, but I find the otherwise Malize Mizer-typical fast electric guitar riffs here disturbing. A consistently melancholic vocal would have suited it better, I think.
As i said, i like his voice. But for someone who was classically trained, his technique is poor. It would take another classically trained singer to understand what im talking about. Myself for example. And.. just out of curiousity i took a piece to my singing teacher (shes been doing it for a good 40 years) and she agreed that his uncontrolled vibrato hinders a few of their songs, Mayonaka ni majiwashita in particular. I feel he will damage his voice rather quickly at this rate.
In all honesty, coming from a singer.. Klaha was worse then gackt. He has a very average voice and this uncontrolled vibrato that makes it sound like hes heavily breathing into every word he sings.. It's hard to explain but he has a shocking technique and i'd say his voice will deteriorate very quickly at this rate. That said, i dont mind him all the same
