This is Brian's debut of this skate and it already gives me chills. He plans to use it next year for the Olympics. If he can find that consistency he had from 2007-2009 this program can be amazing. The Olympics are looking to be wide open with Johnny, Evan and Evgeni wanting to return and keep getting injured, Daisuke's inconsistency and Patrick Chan's recent inconsistency! I'm really hoping Brian can win a medal. He's wanted it so bad and has let his nerves get to him as a contender twice.
bellissimo programma, bella musica, peccato per la caduta, pero' è vero quello che dicono i cronisti, quando lui entra in scena la riempie e il mondo si ferma per qualche minuto. In bocca al lupo per i mondiali Brian!
It's not directly from the soundtrack - Brian's version is remixed. I've been searching on UA-cam (who knew there were SO MANY remixes of Time?!?!) and the one by Instrumental Core seems to be the closest. It's also possible (given that many skaters remove vocal and otherwise edit their pieces) that he had the track remixed especially for him.
Under the new point system, every skater does almost same routine to meet the requirement in order to accumulate points. The system is fair but figure skating lost the flair and character. Patric Chan is a typical example. He is an excellent skater and earns high scores with his skating skills.. Is he exciting? No. There are good skaters but not many memorable skaters with flair and character these days. Thus, the sport is losing the fans, except in Japan.
His transitions, choreography, footwork sequences and etc are not up to the top skaters of late. His PCS score is almost 20 points lower than Cahn's. Top skaters now do Quad in SP and Quads in FP because Quads are " must" to the podium finish.. Forget about Johnny and no Quad Evan.
