- Potted fig trees (and other potted plants) need periodic root pruning -- every year or two for the figs. This video describes the why and how of root pruning. This video shows pineapple guava.
Hello Lee, glad to see you make another video. The sound is very hard to hear, especially for us old guys who are hearing challenged. I always appreciate your instructional videos on gardening techniques.
Great to see you're back!
Great idea! I learned this trick from the bonsai masters.
I hope you make more videos. Love your techniques and personality. Keep it coming!
Thanks. I'll try to make more.
Thanks a bunch for making this new video! I have 3 of your books. Very inspiring! I've used lots of your plant ideas in my edible landscape at home. :-) I have a pineapple guava too. I know what I'll be doing this Fall!
Great video! I've never seen root pruning presented so simply
May I suggest a video showing up close how to prune (sculpting) deciduous ornamentals so we don't get to a point of having to chop huge limbs.... as in how to read a bush and predict its growth... so branches don't get on the way of the path and that sort of thing? Thanks for all your teachings!
Great Video!! Please keep them coming. I would love to see more of your property.
Simple
Easy
Safe
And
Effective.
Great informative video 👍
Happy to see a new video from you. Neat tip with the saw!
Great information I shared this
with my gardening group. Thank you.
Dr. Reich I try to watch anything you’re in - I have many berry bushes ordered in your honor! Lol
thank you. Great information😃
Great video, thank you. Can all container fruit trees be root pruned? Specifically figs and citrus?
Useful video! How about a garden tour? Are those daylilies behind you?
Great.
Is route pruning a technique that you can do with anything? I was thinking about my meant it just keeps getting bigger and bigger in the pot but I don’t want to take it out of the pot because it’ll go crazy so could I take my mint out trim down the roots and top it up the soil and keep doing that year after year?
I have been meaning to get some feijoa to grow in containers and it’s nice to see someone doing it in the same area I live in. Do you have two varieties for cross pollination?
I had two varieties but never got fruit. This is after a number of years, even with hand pollinating. I'm ready to give up on growing this delicious fruit.
I have tried to reach you through your website a couple of times & your form won't work.
I have to speak to my web helper about this. Through my website, the email is garden at leereich.com and this is an email that works even not through my website.
@@newpaltzny It kept telling me I had to enable cookies but I didn't disable cookies and the website gave me no option to allow them. I just emailed you too.
Can hardly hear it. Volume up to maximum, but still..
