If you weren’t alive back then when these movies were made , you wouldn’t understand why they are good . I remember when this came out . My older sister and I were seeing Aliens , but my brother really wanted to see this so he went to this next door . I saw it later that year followed by Karate Kid II . I can remember in those days there were a lot of great movies in theatres , hell even three men and a baby was a descent movie and funny too... I really miss these years and the era. For me 1975-1995 were the best for music , fashion, and movies . Even the skateboards were better . Nowadays nothing is really USA made , its pretty rare .
Agree, agree! There was a different vibe with films back then. The vibrations given off by films now is dark. The world was a much different place back then. People may disagree but that is how I feel.
@@dystopian2153In the 80s, you had the underdog winning. Today, you can't have anyone being better than anyone else(started in the 90s), so you just don't have good movies anymore. I loved the uplifting, fun movies where the underdog won.
I know Quicksilver was considered a rather cheesy eighties drama, but I don't care. I really love that movie and I own it on DVD. Plus this song in particular is so beautifully mesmerizing! John Parr and Marilyn Martin worked so well together to produce this gorgeous, yet extremely underrated eighties ballad! ~Dutch

На какие средства?. Не поленился и когда познакомился с мужиком из Канады, скинул ему этот клип и спрашиваю, сколько такое помещение (при условии, что герой где-то прописан) стоит в месяц? Тот строитель, в теме, говорит что от 8-10тыс американский долларов начинается только аренда. А студенты (тоже частые жильцы в кино таких мест, но уже в втроем, вчетвером), говорит снимают в подвалах (цоколях) зданий, переделанные под полухостелы помещения за 1200-1400 в месяц.

Agree! Her voice blends well w/ him. This shoulda been a hit!! A very underrated gem. Parr co-wrote many of the songs on her debut LP.
