Bought this for Android based on your review. I love this controller and the fact that you get to keep the headphone jack was a huge plus.
3.5mm audio (read no latency) and pass through charging is something that all USBC controllers should have. This is going on my wishlist 😄. I can just use an old phone with Moonlight or Steam link, leave the controller plugged in and it can be my portable game machine.
Omg, insane details, thanks your review
Is there a subscription service that's tied to this controller like the backbone?
I love that controller, I was thinking to buy the backbone for Android but with this new option I am considering it as the option number 1
Got one and you have to pay 16$ a month cant play any play store apps 😡💔😊
Can only find one used one local to me but it doesnt come with the interchangeable inserts just the controller, does the controller come with the default inserts as standard?
Question! Does the usb-c plug of the controller have enough length so that it can connect through the phone even with a case on?
I was really impressed with this mobile gaming controller. I was a little skeptical at first but after using it for a while, I am sold! I would encourage you to pay close attention to the manual and the adapters the Flex has included. There is a fitting tool to help you see if your case will fit with the included adapters or if you need to take your case off while using the controller.
Alas, I had hope this would fit my S22 Ultra with OtterBox case but their case compatibility page says no dice.
Where can I buy this? Been trying to find it can’t find it. Will it work with the iPhone 15 Pro Max can I still keep my case on it will most of the games on iPhone work with this controller
For some reason when I plugged in my headphones to the gamevice flex it worked fine but when I took the headphones out I can't hear anything. The console is acting like the headphones are still plugged in but they aren't and now I can't use the console without the headphones being plugged in because that is the only time I can hear anything. I unplugged my phone from the console a million times and I even restarted my phone over and over again and I still can't get any noise on my console unless the headphones are plugged in. Can anyone help me with this?
you dont happen o know if i can use it with samsung z flip?
This is great! I felt like the original Kishi was actually really underrated - the sticks were console-style instead of switch-style so not bad for shooters. Bit of a dead zone but still better than what you’d find on Backbone or the Kishi version 2. My only gripe was it didn’t fit cases, so this seems perfect.
One question - do the triggers make a scraping sound or are they fairly quiet? The original Kishi’s triggers tended to rub against the back casing and scrape every depress.
They sounded pretty quiet to me!
If you want your phone with the case on to fit in the old kishi you can pull out the rubber from the kishi the way he's doing it in this video.
Also the scraping noise comes from the internals of the controller, not from scraping the back of the controller. I removed the entire back of the controller and it was still making the noise.
I wanted to buy one, followed the affiliate link, and it says not available😪.
Cool
Can't find one of Amazon, Ebay, or anywhere else.
So it doesn't have custom mapping?
Would you consider selling this if you still have it ? I can't find it anywhere would love to experience it with my new android phone for emulation
Flex is great but the Kishi v2 mobile app provides a virtual gamepad for mapping your Kishi to games that don't support controllers. While I hate the fact that Razer decided to make this software exclusive to the v2 model, it's impossible for me to deny how significant this software feature is for mobile gaming. The Mantis app works okay for the v1 Kishi, but it tends to bug out and close, or sometimes just not work. Razer Nexus app just works.
Question! Can i use the charging port for audio as well instead of the audio port? I mean who carries a 3.5 headphones anymore?
Does this remote require a subscription
will it fit my 179 mm phone ?
Hi!
I'm going to buy the Gamevice Flex.
It's been a while since you made this video, is there anything negative to add regarding Gamevice Flex or can I buy without worries?
Thanks for the content and attention.
Outside of the dpad being mushy, not really
Love it, but need the iPhone 15 Pro version.
What happened to this thing? I was looking to buy one they've completely vanished.
that's funny. mine didn't come with a headphone jack
Dose it work wirelessly ???
No, you have to connect it to your device.
Lon, is call of duty mobile compatible with the game vice flex? the razer kishi is not compatible with call of duty mobile. I wonder if the game vice flex fits the samsung galaxy z fold 4. I'm glad the controller finally has a headphone jack that I been looking for in a game controller and a pass thru usb c charging at the same time.
I don't believe it is if the Kishi isn't compatible.
@@LonSeidman I had to use my Xbox controller thru bluetooth to play call of duty mobile. Getting a different controller that uses a wired connection defeats the purpose to play games since it requires a certain controller to play certain game titles on mobile. I wonder if connecting an Xbox controller from usb c on the controller to usb c from the phone will work with games instead of using bluetooth
Other then the dpad, that looks like a really well made controller! And 30 years from now, the NES version of Contra will still be awesome!🙂
Razer kishi is compatible
The cod mobile is compatible with the razor kishi but only for the iPhone side , android it doesn't work only iPhone
They went the extra mile, razor shouldve went. I dont know why the designers at razor didnt account for accomidating phone with cases and dont get me started on the creaky trigger buttons, but they marketed the heck out of it.
I’d be wary of iOS accessories that use lightning now that the connector is nearing end of life.
I still hate game ice for sueing Nintendo over the Joy-Cons even tho this product is way different than Joy-Cons lol xd
100 for a controller is extortion
It's all those adapters
Can it run codm out of the box
That's really disappointing with teh D-pad. I want to update my Kishi v1 purely due to the crap D-pad. GUess it'll have to be the Backbone One.
