Hey my friend,,,,I recently purchased some graph wraps and rod straps from you,,,,,and they work really well,,,very satisfied,,,,,if you have the means on your next rod purchase,,try a falcon ,they are awesome,,,,,good fishing to ya
@@phils6733 I’ve had 3, one at 100$, 200$ and then a 50$ one , all three broke only the 50$ lasted a year and I stomped on it so I can’t complain about that😂
I have yet to catch one on the frog as well. Even though my partner and I caught 18lbs in our biggest 5 on the Roanoke last weekend. No frog eaters in the bunch.
Love the videos bro! I havnt been fishing as long as some but love the sport…I have a small boat so I can actually catch fish and get me off of those heavily populated banks in Ontario Canada.. typically fish with spoons, spinners top waters and sencos…I have jigs but could never commit for long periods of time as I never hooked one on it. I have a few swim jigs 3/8 what colours would you recommend? Does time of day water clarity etc play a big role? Or is it just the standard green pumpkin at all times will do the trick? Thanks buddy
Don't get me wrong .... I love LEWS, and about 1/3 of my rods are LEWS, but I've broke at least one of them a year. Their skipping reel and bb1 are my favorite of all, though.
Lew's rods break in that spot all the time and it's why i stay clear of them, I'd buy duckett (jacob wheeler series) or dobyns they are some of the most reliable rods in my own opinion.
I was not ready for that rod to snap lol, I jumped a little, that always sucks. Did you order that rod from Tackle Warehouse? I've had the worst luck ordering rods from them is why I'm asking, I've started ordering direct from manufacturers.
Haha yep. I've caught 1000s of bass on a frog and it's just my preference. I always tell everyone use what your most comfortable with and what works for you
That rid was mad wrong. It wasn't splin set. That's what happens on a lot of manufacturers rods they make so many that they can't spline them all. That's why I started making my own rodsnot hard to make and I can make sure that the blank is splined right
Good Creel a great selection of lures! Keep catching em on tight lines!
You handled that rod break like a boss. I woulda come uncorked right on camera. My rods are expensive just like I’m sure yours are too.
Great video my friend. I'm sorry your rod broke.
Maybe Santa should give you a new scale, maybe Lew’s as much as you promote their product! I love the BB1 pro and the Hyper Mag myself! Nice video.
Lews is a sponsor of mine. I dont believe they make a scale at the moment
And ppl talk about duckett rods😂😂😂 that lews just exploded😂
When you add braid and a hard hookset they are going to fail at some point. I've about broken about every brand I've ever used
Good stuff man.

Lees rods are best sitting on the shelf😂
Lees or lews?
I have a few lews rods maybe the mid to higher end ones…I think they are great!

I need to try a swim jig a bit more

Green pumpkin is always a good option!! I prefer sunfish colored swim jigs just because I feel like most of the shallow fish are keying on sunfish
What lake you on

The skipping reel is amazing!
if you leave your scale out in direct sunlight turn it screen down enjoyed the video

I've ordered them from several different places. Stuff gets so beat up now during shipment its crazy
I made my first order from Tackle Warehouse. It took 8 days just to ship it. I always give another chance to redeem themselves.
What buzzbaits do you use ?
how do you like that Lews super duty reel
It is a great reel. Super smooth!
@@GunnFishTV thank you i use two of them myself
Just curious how long does it take you to put it together one of these videos. You do such a great job
Thanks Jeff. They take generally between 2 to 3 hours to sort clips, edit, and review the finished product
I need to get faster... takes me like 10 to 12 hours to edit one lol
Dude you have had a hard time with frog rods , I think that’s the second one over two years but that will happen some time .
But as always great video
Thanks man!!
What state u in bama
Va
6.4.1 on a frog😳

That rod I broke 2 of them like that. I get better use out of them from Walmart the lews green ones for 30 dollars

You put just a little too much bazinga into your hookset.
Haha
