Want to see the Crooked House rebuilt? It CAN be done ! Check out the Carlton Tavern in Maida Vale, London which HAS BEEN totally and exactly rebuilt after it was demolished without permission in 2015
Serious breaches of Fire, planning, and HSE (Demolition) Regulations, all of which carry a potential custodial sentence. Now who's going to jail ??? - Answer NO ONE - because the council doesn't have the nerve.
Heartbreaking 💔 just no words stood perfectly imperfect for 250 years and developer buys it and gone like most of our historic places, I’ve cried tonight because it’s just broke me seeing this rare gem go before our eyes, I’ll always hold it dearly in my heart and my kids and their kids will miss out on this rare gem of ours and never get to experience a marble rolling up a table! WTH though these property developers needs to buy other land not where historic beauties sit! Makes me angry and very sad they did this xxxxxx
Manages to survive centuries without fire, but manages only weeks after changing hands to a property developer. Is this the fate of all our inconveniently historic properties. How many times does this have to happen?
Nice shots! Well done!♥️😍
