imaging being the mustang and seeing every build come and go...
And being the one brothers daily driver. Which is great because they are such fun cars that give you a sense of spirit when just cruising.
When are you finally get the inner fenders. Can’t stand to see that intake so close to the tire. But overall great work.

I loved the Mustang project. Y’all really repaired this machine and built it like y’all wanted it. If i was the Mustang, i would be thanking y’all so much for letting me be with the owners that i would deserve to be with, and im sure the Mustang itself is so grateful to be owned by you guys. Y’all are such great people doing something positibe in this world and saving vehicles that need desirably repaired, and i want to thank y’all for that. These machines have a heart to owners like you guys. These machines are so grateful to be owned, repaired, and cared for by you guys.

I'm sincerely waiting for the interior mods that you guys must do to the OG stang cause it deserves it. You guys boosted it, you guys transformed the car with gt500 body now all that's left is to spruce up the interior to bring the evolution of the car to a full circle. Pls make it happen.

I like your page because you guys are full of energy and are real. Here is some constructive criticism for your health. Your bodies will say thank you 25 yrs from now.
Always Ware PPE.
1. Hearing protection
2. Eye protection
3. Face protection (Nose and mouth)
4. Foot protection. The flops look cool, but your lower back would say thank you at the end of the day. Try it.
5. Gloves whenever are need it.
Pour a concrete slab and install a tarp over it to wash your cars, Specially, since you use power washers to wash them. You can also use the floor for the paint booth. The car tires would eventually tear up the bottom of the booth.

I have had that happen to me before too... where the paint was almost drying as it hit the car. Luckily cutting it afterwards was no problem and buffed perfectly.

You need to back off the hardener/ activator when it is really hot.

@@marquisethomas5611 i would use a slow hardner in hot weather, medium in warm and fast in cool. I am older so i call a fast hardner hot. If you dont have a slow you can back off the amount, but you have to be careful when doung that especially on single stage. I always use a slow on clear, but i have a heated booth.

The frame rate went up too. It was 50 before, 60 now. That shouldn't be a biggie but it's noticeable to me.

I'm not professional either but I've done a ton of spring in my time on different projects seems like your paint was too hot which means too much hardener and also maybe too much pressure it looked like your pressure was a little high I Don't Spray with any more than 35 or 40 just a few tips and my stinking opinion maybe try it out sometime with the lower pressure and see how you feel about it that should have came out slicker than owl s*** but you can still wet sand and buff that may help hey young Brothers everything looks pretty good though man for real you guys stay safe stay well and as always God bless

good tips
I'm not saying it's the right thing to do, BUT, I've added clear to the color on the last coat with high metallics in hot weather to smooth it off. Something I learned back in the lacquer days. I've never had any issues later on with mixing base and clear. Just something to keep in your back pocket for that day you really want to save a paint job.
Good tips. I run more thinner when it's hot outside. It's a balancing act, you gotta make sure the paint flows before it hardens. Metallics aren't easy.
East of Edom Apiary Darren Miller I've heard of that trick before. I like to mix my urethane enamel base with clear laquer. It gives the paint a nice splotchy peeled effect 😂

On a hot day and generally on all no paint booth paintjobs it is good to use slower drying hardener that way overspray and small imperfections have more time to flatten out to the paint.
That’s dope goons , all you need is side by side drives so we can see those cars moving.

When painting in hot weather be sure to use a super slow hardener and reducer with clear/base
For sure you have to adjust the amount of activator for the temperature little more when it's cold the last when it's hot I've had paint set up in the bucket for I could even get to the spray site
By the way I'm talkin industrial painting
Guys. If its that hot in your booth, you need to use a slower hardener/reducer for everything you spray... I noticed you filled a few large rock chips already from the old paint job... Be prepared for this paint job to be a lot more "rock chippy", due to lack of adhesion........ Can see at the end of the vid how dead the clear is because it kicked over too fast and killed it, causing "solvent trap"... the solvents "will" find their way out eventually, meaning it will basically peal off.... yes you can polish it to make it shiny for now, but it will eventually peal off... sorry boys, you are learning, but you'll learn the hard way on this one in about 6 months.... Just keep going guys, learning is learning, and the best way to succeed is never stop... awesome vids! cheers from canada:)

There are so many cool aftermarket choices for a 2015-2017 Mustang. The problem with the 2018-2020 Mustang is that lower radiator core support. Even when you install an aftermarket hood it looks awkward because it is aiming too low.
This is an underrated observation! I bought a 2016 in 2021 for this very reason. I later learned that I also gave up the 10-speed trans, line lock, and mag-ride unfortunately 😢...but it looks WAY better without the nose of the car pointing to the ground to me. I thought I was the only one who noticed that. I never knew why Ford did it tho...

I make the production bumpers for Ford. The reason the center caps is separate is that it is more expensive for us to mask it than it is for us to just make another part and paint it black.

Was doing a late model Mustang GT Eleanor conversion build when the Gone in 60 Seconds license holder sued and took the build away from them, simply because B is for Build bought an Eleanor conversion kit and referred to it as an Eleanor. RIDICULOUS! They were also forced to remove all of the content regarding the build.

It’s cause you mixed all the clear at the same time. It starts to cook or catalyze as soon as you ad the hardener. I’ve done this before, but it will buff out just fine. Looking good! Keep it up!

hey guys the hood does look a little dull, but I believe there are additives you add when the temperature is extremely hot and or humid to slow the drying process down so you don't end up with your paint drying that fast. I know you want your paint to dry at a certain time .
