LOADING WARS: WE BUILT a BIG DOCK! FORKLIFT FIGHTS & FAILS FTW! (S2 E5)

- WE READ YOUR COMMENTS.. and we used those ideas mixed in with our own experience to make this NEW GAME ARENA, complete with a Lifted Dock for the Trucks and Trailer to back into. WELCOME TO FORKLIFT FIGHTS! If you are new here, I will list the rules:
1) Do not have any of your tires (truck or forklift) touch the yellow tape
2) Do not lose any load off of a pallet at any time
3) Do not bump a pallet rack
4) Do not hit any item other than a pallet, with your forklift
5) Do not have any of your trailer hit the dock
6) Do not knock into, or knock over any Blocks
1) You are Allowed to Block and Use Strategy
2) Everything is a Race
3) Penalties are cancelled when another contestant gets a penalty
This game is all about friends having fun, and though it looks like we take this very seriously.. we all know we are here to have a good time on a weekend with buds :) If we miss a penalty, its not a big deal to us.. becuase we do the very best we can to call them as we see them!

This game just keeps evolving. I love watching the show! It gets so intense some times!!
This is the level of building and ridiculousness I have been waiting for. A full scale dock with ramps that won't hang up the forklifts. I would think with the loader being hydraulic, it might be easier to load stuff than the fork trucks as it seems to move much smoother.

New dock looks great and I also enjoy seeing the addition of the loader!!
I have similar loader, & I can tell ya these RC loaders are a tad tougher to get the hang of than are the real life counterparts.
That dock is so much better than when the series started, also having physical barriers instead of just tape is a great improvement. This looks like a lot of fun, its great just watching the evolution of the game
Ive always had a strategy on UA-cam for our shows.. You can never start with a Big Ending ;) you have to let it evolve with time, and let the viewers experience the rc adventure with the production team!

GREAT NEW WAR GROUND! about a month ago I suggested having the raised loading dock. This is so way over the top
I LOVE IT thank you for the time you you had to invest to bring this wonderful thing that you bring to give us a new way to figure out how to do things that we could never be able to do in real life. This is a great thing I am trying to get one of the fork lifts I have several up grades to improve their operation. see you have infected another RC builder with a 3D printer and a lot of extra time to use

Suggestion; both trucks should enter the dock from the same lane. Drivers get to pick a tile for who goes first, and another tile for which dock. Then if or when loaded, leave the dock using the exit lane.

I think you should make them back down the ramp when their forks are empty,just like in real life, in accordance with OSHA. By the way. I love the series and the show. Love the RC Sparks channel and crew. You guys are all awesome.

The new docking entry for the trailers resembles a real dock so much better than the old one. Maybe after a few rounds of the new style, you could add an "indoor" style.

New set up is awsome
I work in a cardboard factory, watching a forklift loose a pallet of cardboard is amusing you should try it in your game maybe cut some high gloss board cut to be just a little bit bigger then the pallet and to scale about 1.4m high
or for even more fun put 2 stacks on a pallet :)
I make make boxes for puzzles and board games and totally agree. Although the clean up is a bear when you are trying to save the product.

I'm loving the new docks. The tougher penalties make er much more interesting, & tougher too. I really like the blocks too. With them to mark the boundaries, there's no question if the contestants go out of bounds. This looks like a tough course today! Cool video

we are going to take out all the stupid electrics in these models and replace them in a few weeks Danon.. they need a serious upgrade to be more agile and fun

That's kind of what I'm planning to do with the big yellow forklift, pretty much gut it & start from scratch, 2 stepper motors up front connected to omnidirectional wheels & a fully articulating steering in the back driven by an actual servo. The lift is getting moved forward just a little to make room and it will have a proper tilt function. Lol, Turn it into an absolute beast of a work horse! :-/ Just gathering the funds to getter done.

Just trying to think of some more ideas for you guys to add to your loading Wars maybe make a log Bridge that they have to cross over with their load on their way to their final doc

Put the crane in the middle if it can reach no DQ but more challenging penalty pick up the forklift and drop it in a square with a hook and no hands

As a forklift instructor you should always drive backwards down a ramp if you have a load and drive upwards going up i feel like you guys should shrink wrap it to make it more scale
