Friendship is such a weird thing. I mean these are just random people I met one day and decided to let into my life and basically trust them with it. I can never truly know who they are…and they can never truly know who I am. There’s always a secret about each other that we don’t know. And sometimes these things can lead to horrible outcomes like the recent events of friends poisoning their other friends. It’s very fascinating that even with this knowledge, humans still need to have friends. A community. Because whilst friends can be bad, they can also be the best part of a person’s life.
Friends…good friends, can be the pillar that keeps you up, the sun during rainy days and the flashlight that lights up your path during those dark nights.
They’re warmth in cold times and shade from the hot sun.
The relationship you build with friends can be priceless. Sometimes even more important than some blood ties.
These are people you can be yourself with, your true self. No thoughts of “these are my elders or what if they judge me”.
Friends,…good friends…are special. One in a trillion. And with everything going on in the world lately,
